So true. It’s also annoying how Matchroom fighters are clearly instructed to post pro-Bellew stuff on social media.

All of them were at it, from Joshua right the way down to Connor Benn. It’s so contrived and boring. They should let their fighters be honest and say what they really think.

The fact Paulie had to reel them in and say they couldn't give Bellew rounds just for doing 'OK' says it all.

Protip: if your personal card in any way ever resemble's a Froch card, please desist and refrain.

What can we do though? It has got to the point where it actually winds me up and ruins the experience for me. Maybe multiple written complaints might be a start?

No chance. They have to blow smoke up the arse of every one of their British fighters as that justifies their model. Loma-Crolla will be PPV over here. Anthony Crolla in a PPV main event! And you'll get the same crap as we did with the Bellew fight. "He's massively up against it, but you never know with boxing, Crolla has that determination that Loma might not have seen before" and every shot Crolla lands (both of them) will be "HUGE SHOT FROM CROLLA"

There was a post on here a couple of years ago about how Froch and Smith etc score fights...

How many times have you seen a judge genuinely score a 10-10 round in a fight? Yet Sky seem to find one in every single fight, simply because they haven't got the bottle to say their fighter lost that round. That's why it's so refreshing to have Paulie there!

This is very true and just to follow up Crolla should not be allowed to go anywhere Loma as it will end in absolute disaster and a concussion. If it does happen it will speak volumes of that rat Hearn who doesn’t give a monkeys about his alleged ‘world class stable’ (yeah righto) who are not equipped to deal with proper P4P elite boxers. Loma is no Uysk, he is on a different level and will do a serious job on Crolla. His conditioning will prob keep him until about the 5th by which time he will have been ripped to shreds.

Nelson will come out a few days before the fight saying Crolla is more skilled than Loma.

Froch will say he believes Crolla will KO Loma. Hearn will tell everyone that Crolla's ENGINE will be enough to get him a decision as Loma 'has never really faced anyone like him'.

This brainwashing bull**** will just go on and on and on until people stop paying for PPV.

    ^^^ This, exactly.

Even casuals will get wise to it, eventually.

But he is DARING TO BE GREAT of course. And you can't criticise someone for trying to make their DREAM INTO A REALITY can you.

Y'know, the Matchroom mottos for someone who cannot possibly win a particular fight.

Kell Brook DARED TO BE GREAT against GGG as I recall and ended up ruining his career and getting a serious injury.

Same if you are calling the same fighter as Johnny Nelson pre fight. I remember genuinely believing ortiz was going to beat 7 bells out of Wilder, then hi Jack the heavy weight division, had a wager with my mate on the fight even money; Nelson called wilder too I even phoned my mate to tell him "Wilder has won, Nelson has called Ortiz" Still believe Ortiz would have won that fight with any non biased setting. But just goes to show if Nelson agrees with you you're definitely wrong. Sure he called Eubank Jr against groves too.

Some sort of petition/internet campaign would be great. It's very easy in this day and age to highlight issues using the internet. All you need is a bloody hash tag or whatever. Anything that gains support, while highlighting how poor/bias sky boxing commentary is would be brilliant. It's destroying UK boxing for boxing fans at a time the sport is flourishing. There's just no need for it.

The problem is the size of Matchroom and Sky Sports boxing now, its huge, bigger than its ever been.

The PPV model is doing well, they don't give a toss what genuine boxing fans think any longer, this is the era of the fast pound coin and "the casual fan".

It's easy money and also easy money for their boxing pals to do a spot of punditry and get on a big show/event to look relevant and important.

How they keep inviting Froch back is beyond me though, great fighter, woeful pundit, when Froch speaks I actually question if he knows anything whatsoever about boxing in 2018.

They got rid of Nick Halling and that was the correct decision, he was bias, blinkered and talked utter rubbish in my opinion.

Adam Smith replaced Halling with errrr Adam Smith and we get bias and blinkered commentary and we also get an explanation Saturday about Bellews "Bomber" tattoo being his nickname and nothing to do with a terror attack..

Are you taking the ****? I pay £20 for Adam Smith to tell me Bellew isn't a member of ISIS or isn't paying tribute to victims of terror.

It's gone too far now but I can't see how they are going to correct it and I don't think they want to, they all have their greasy little fingers in the PPV pie and they have the appetite of Tyson Fury with the munchies.

I am still trying to promote a "Red Button Option" on Sky Sports boxing of just crowd noise, they do it with the football, the only reason they haven't done it is because they know it would only be them listening to themselves slurp the crack of every Matchroom fighter.
