As usual, people are quick to turn a guy on a good run into an ATG. I have to pick Holyfield, who cleaned up the division at a younger age before moving on.

Holyfield got stunned by Cooper and was back on him like a Shark on prey less than 30 seconds later!! Cooper could bang, big deal Holy got rocked he also beat Cooper senseless for most of the fight.. And Yeah Sanders beat an obease old shot to hell Cooper.. Sanders could also really BANG!!! When Cooper was on he stood toe to toe with Mercer, broke his jaw and took bombs all night, i’m guessing you weren’t around back then but Bert Cooper was a very tough fighter!!!

And as far as Moorer I’m not sure Usyk beats him let alone Holyfield.. Moorer had heavy hands, a good jab and was nasty (sometimes) Usyk May be to busy for him though... I’m impressed with Usyk but like other posters said let’s see him in with a good Heavyweight before we crown him Joshua’s worst nightmare.. Prime Holy at this point I think has to be favored over Usyk.. But for the record I’d love to see Usyk run a boxing clinic on all these big stiff ass super Heavyweights that everyone thinks are so unbeatable because they are big.................

A similar dynamic was play here as with Loma/Linares scoring only more pervasive and egregious. One judge had Linares up and another even and those U.S. had zero motivation to give Linares every possible close round other than a far more sinister motive thatt was at hand.

In fact it seems Usyk and Loma are going to be losing every remotely close round they have in their fights so they might want to alter their approach to account for this.
