Seems a little premature to do this. At this stage Joshua would be at a decided advantage. I do have high hopes for what Usyk May bring to the HW division, but he needs a couple of fights here before we can really say. Today I say Joshua, but Usyk with another year and 2-3 fights in the HW division will give us a better understanding
Right now, you have to assume AJ by KO... AJ is a proven commodity at HW.... But, should have “too early to tell” in poll…how Usyk reacts to true HW power and how his power carries up could change this poll a lot…
AJ by decision. Usyk looks pretty solid in the chin department. I could see a bodyshot KO if AJ (McCracken) feels he is more vulnerable there.
I think Usyk's movement and counter punching definitely cause problems for Joshua. But Joshua's size and reach maybe too much to over come. Usyk does well early but eventually he gets broken down, Joshua is a decent counter puncher himself and will establish his jab and force Usyk to come to him more and more, to try and close the range and eventually he'll get caught coming in and Joshua stops him late.
A much smaller Joyce, years ago, over a few rounds. It was a close fight, not a schooling, be objective. At 260 pounds, over 12 rounds, with how much Joyce has developed, he'd beat up the smaller Usyk, size does matter, thats why they have weight divisions. Every fighter loses in the amatuers, thats why its amatuers, its a place to learn. Stop refering back to amatuers to form an argument because it can be used against any fighter. For example, Shawn Porter schooled Usyk in the amatuers, how could he ever handle a heavyweight pressure fighter when he cant even handle a welterweight one? See what i mean? Dumb.
Joyce didn't develop much, still looks pretty basic, clumsy and slow. Joyce never went 12, maybe he would be exhausted after 8 rounds. We don't know if his stamina is at least average. Usyk went 12 before at high pace and we know his stamina is great. Usyk and Joyce didn't fight at amateurs, They fought at WSB and more then a few rounds. Thanks for your input, but everything you said is wrong lol
Yeah, he only went from UK champ to Olympic silver medalist between the time he fought Usyk and turned pro, no development at all lol. WSB is amatuers you peanut. Stop being a sour puss.
Joshua has alot of flaws, but the power to knock your block off at anytime. I know how good Usyk is but I need to see what he can do against the big boys at HW before I can really give a good assessment on the fight. One thing I do know is Usyk can be hit by that right hand which is one of Joshua's best punches in his arsenal. Right now I'd favor Joshua to win by rallying KO.
The old saying is a great little guy will more than likely beat a good big guy. = Usyk a great small guy + Joshua a good big guy = Usyk wins a decision or late accumulation stoppage. SIMPLE ARITHMETIC.
