    On ESPN website.

Describes Holyfields' entrance to the CW division after winning an Olympic medal (robbed of the gold) and winning the title from Dwight Qawi in his 12th fight. After 6 (?)defences, he moved up to HW successfully.

Dan then covers Usyk winning the title in his 10th pro fight, and how he has traveled all over the world defending the title. He hasn't yet fought as champ in Ukraine!

Dan is spot on with that one. What Usyk has done is remarkable.

I think even Holy would agree.
And even to be considered among the two best is an achievement. It doesn't really matter who was the greater CW.
Both are/will be judged by what they did at HW.

I don't agree with the Clifton Park doughboy too often but here it is hard to argue against him.

Best Cruiser of all time, and his chin is solid enough. Joshua fans are worried !

Needs to move up to heavyweight, for that accolade. Holyfield's wins over Bowe and Tyson surpass his win over Gassiev, and Briedis. That's just the facts.

I believe Dan Rafael is merely talking about achievements at cruiser. You're right though, in terms of legacy the key is how Usyk does at HW.

And he only needed 16 fights for that. Eat your heart out Floyd and Wanheng!

That grates on me a bit. Holyfield didn't have longevity at cruiser weight, he moved up pretty quickly. But theres no cruiserweights in Usyk's record better than Michael Moorer. Fight might have taken place at heavy, but he was a blown up cruiser weight no doubt.

Moorer was never a Cruiser a blown up LHW and it showed against punchers.

Your right he wasn't. Thought he was, seems a strange career jump.I knew he won a title at Light heavy because he was undefeated for a while. Still better than any wins on Usyk's record though. This is turning into David Haye hype with this Usyk. Deontay needs to trim down to cruiser, and deal with this cruiserweight immediately to end this debate once and for all.

Fights at HW have no impact on CW standing.

The second Holyfield stepped up to HW, none of the results impacted his CW career.

He's in the top two at the moment. How he's perceived in the future will depend a lot on what his opponents go on to do.

His lhw resume better as Usyk's cruiser one? That is the who's who of light heavyweight cannon fodder from the time. He was a bumbasher, and even Wilder's resume looks like murderers row compared to that.
