You’re making the classic mistake of looking at the name of the fighter, not the state he’s in and, frankly, that’s what people who made this fight are counting on.
Fury would be the best name on Wilders resume, no doubt about it, but the kind of fighter Fury was in his last two bouts is somewhere amongst the worst windmill has fought.

Correct. And he is out of shape. He should have had another tuneup or two or three.
And he's mental. And he'll be jet lagged. And ate tainted Mexican beef at the airport.
And got a STD from the hookers they sent to his dressing room. Etc.

Fury is a big name cherry pick by Wilder, his team and the Wilder Bodyguard Conglomerate. If this was the Fury that beat Chisora 2.0 or WK, Wilder wouldn't go anywhere near him.

The fact that Fury has come back after a 2 1/2 year after party is the sole reason why Wilders team (all fourteen of them) has taken the fight to improve their negotiating position when they cash out Wilder against AJ.

For Fury to win, he's gonna have to either nail Wilder to the canvas or win by a 10-2 round SD, cuz the WBC don't want no foreigner holding that green belt.

So yeah, Fury needs to hope for some godly intervention to get the win.....shame really

I’ve never understood this Fury hype to be honest. Yeah, he defeated Wlad but with 0 punches thrown by either of them so where are those superior boxing skills? His hands are fast, his movement is good... but WK win aside he’s always been just an awkward fighter, awkward enough to land a clean uppercut on himself.
Combine that with his current state (well, the one we’ve seen in the last two bouts) and I see nothing to be excited about.

Let's hope after this bout all the news we hear from Fury will be in the Classic forum. In other words, swept into the dustbin of boxing history.

They desperately want the Joshua unification fight so its a strong possibility.

Fury has nothing to offer so he is 2nd tier right now and is not very marketable.

If Fury also wins he ties down Wilder in a rematch and Joshua is stuck with Whyte or someone soft until Wilder/Fury can resolve it between themselves.

fury needs to pray he miraculously becomes a better fighter overnight. and yes, wilder would much rather fight this hustler just trying to make a buck off his gullible fans than the guy just off of winning hw belts, wouldnt you? problem is, that guy is never coming back and he isnt that good even if he did.

Fury is still considered the lineal champ, a man who beat the man so there’s that.

It makes no sense for him to win business-wise so bare the KO you know how this will end.

I to have always thought Fury was overrated but, a fully fit and motivated Fury still gives Wilder kittens, unfortunately we won't be getting that Fury and Wilder facking well knows it. AJ said a while ago when asked about Fury's comeback, whether he would want to fight him and AJ said only if fully fit as he'd get no credit otherwise.

Wilder doesn't give 2 fooks about such lofty aspirations cuz he's a cherry picking fraud

I agree the only reason they took this fight is because they think Fury has taken it too early, they would have not taking it otherwise.

I fear though as in the movie "snatch" Wilder has been taken by Gypsy's, watch the betting market during the week of the fight.

If you're a long time boxing fan who saw the Wilder/Ortiz fight how do you watch that and say he has any chance against a boxer?

Everyone can be caught, but any kind of fit Fury wins this all day and I thank the bookmakers for 2/1 for Fury odds on points.

if fury is who you think he is, he will swallow his beating, get to work and come back in his best form and school wilder in a rematch. if he is who i think he is, he will give every excuse for losing that his fans are giving him now, go on a coke binge, and come back for more of your change when his dealer stops giving him credit.

The thing is though, Fury does get hit in fights and in some fights, very often. From what I've seen in the training footage leading up to the fight, Fury just doesn't have the legs anymore so he's gonna get clipped. If he reacts badly, he's finished

I actually agree with you. When you've abused your body to the extent that he apparently has, it don't get better from 30 onwards no matter how much effort you put in. Fury isn't dedicated or disciplined enough and he's surrounded by yes men. He's going down and it's going to be all very sad.

I want Fury to win and for him to wreck everyone's plans.
