The WBC may well be run by the Sulamain dynasty but, it's predominantly American money that finances it ala Al Haymon. If it wasn't getting money from the US boxing commissions it would be comparable with the IBO
tyson has nineteen knock outs. seventeen if you really want to be honest about his last two "fights". in both, he looked slow. yes he has movement and is awkward and that can make it difficult. but with out a good punch to keep wilder at a respectful distance, i foresee a mid round knock out by wilder. just see wilder walking him down, trapping him and then lights out for fury.
Anyone know what the Spilka scorecards were, pretty sure the Washington cards were bad n all cause even Washington took rounds off Wilder. I’d like to think it’s gonna be fair but I doubt it as it’s all riding on the big money AJ fight down the line.
Not sure about the Hookers et al but for sure he really needed to show some form before taking a step up fight like this... Wilder is only taking this fight because he is banking on Fury needing to get some form before fighting him... Only deluded Wilder nut huggers would be thinking this is going to be a prime Fury and the win is going to provide any leverage in a AJ fight... I like Fury so I am pretty disappointed that he has rushed into this fight as he needs to be at his best to have a good chance of wining.
Does Fury not have a free Will? Someone forced, or rushed him into this bout? I don't think so. Fury is his own man, I can't see anyone talking him into something he doesn't want to do.
funny because both Parker and Whyte have done way more than Ortiz has, so they are actually both a level above Luis "achieved nothing" Ortiz.
Yes, I'd say it's pretty obvious he's going to get shafted if it goes to the cards. Wilder being ahead on the scorecards against Ortiz, ahead against Szpilka, ahead on one card vs Washington (even on the other two) shows the type of favouritism Fury's going to be up against. He'll need to absolutely batter Wilder from pillar to post and likely drop him a few times to ensure victory. I can see him outboxing Wilder but I can't see him doing enough to get the win in that sort of environment.
Hahahahaha no he fought smart and jabbed Wlads head off, he completly dominated the fight from the first round with his jab & footwork. A masterclass performance.
Of course. Just take a look at Wilders' official scorecards and then to what actually happened in the fight. He's not getting a fair shake here
Can only begin to imagine Team Fury's reactions should he get robbed on the cards. All hell will break loose in the ring.
The post fight interview will have to be heavily bleeped out when on repeat that's for sure. Fury isn't one to shy away from the truth normally, you know he'll be very, vocal, very clear of how badly he's been shafted and will no doubt use some colourful language to express his feelings on the matter. Probably another reason why they didn't let Big John Fury in the country, if Tyson get's robbed, he'd be gouging eyes out left, right and centre, lol. But in the long term getting robbed could benefit Fury. He's always been portrayed as the bad guy, if he gets robbed he'll gain a lot of sympathy, Brit fans that previously disliked or were indifferent to him will support him, much like when Lewis was robbed. The rematch will likely be a bigger success because of it, especially if it's in the UK. In fact financially it makes sense to rob Fury in the first fight, so I'll be surprised if Fury gets a fair shake on the scorecards.
