I never had anything against him before when he was a fighter, I was never a fan of his boxing but as far as personality goes, I never really had a reason to hate him. But ever since he started doing more commentary/punditry I have been incrementally building up a dislike for him.

I think he's racially very biased. Like whenever he speaks about an EE boxer (especially one that's popping), he always has this begrudging/resentful attitude and a far more critical mind. When he's doing commentary and there's a black guy fighting, whenever other commentators would make slightest of criticisms towards a black fighter, he instantly downplays it and almost seems to take offense at it.

I don't know, maybe I'm wrong here but I'm good at reading people.

It's referees job to call shots low. This is a fight game and on that level especially things get very competitive. Kovalev should have got the not in the first fight, and the shots should have been called low in the second., But none of that is Wards fault. You clearly has something personal against the man, so you should go ahead and sort it out for yourself.

After being asked about Usyk last Saturday, Ward said he heard of Usyk only 2 months ago.

Marchent had it right about Ward re his old fashioned style of boxing that’s just not very fan friendly to watch or get behind.
Absolute master of his trade in big fights,Froch said as much but had it right about wanting to rewatch any of Wards fights.

 

Dunno I often thought he’d of gotten more love in somewhere like the U.K. than he did from his own country.
Ward did mention the disparity between himself and Floyd in America,up with Floyd in talent but not able to draw in the numbers or get any love from the US.
Imagine if U.K. had a guy with his record,no way would he been hated,like em loathe em they actually do back it up by paying their hard earned money to go watch em with fights selling out in a day.
Seems to me re Ward that wether liked or loathed neither side were particularly bothered about spending their cash on going to watch him or buy his last two fights.
