I guess so...but in this footage is quite a lot of Benvenuti l and how effin' ROUGH tyhat fight was...Monzon was like an effin' TIGER with Nino...not the calculating, measured fighter he became.,...making me take a second look. It was how he dealt with a guy who was relatively close to the same height and reach.

Remember the crowd chanting: "Nino! Nino" early on? After the mid rounds the 'ninos' chants became virtually non-existent. :)

Does it include video of Monzon choking his wife unconscious and throwing her off a balcony and her landing face first on the pavement where she died, and then him calling on ambulance because he hurt his arm but didn't tell the ambulance that there was a dead woman lying around back?

Seriously, throw him in the same do-not-discuss hole with Edwin Valero.

Like he rag-dolled his unconscious wife off the balcony?

Monzon was a boring fighter and a murderer. That about sums it up.

Why doesn't Dubblechin just stay the **** out of this thread if he can't be more objective? Who needs you anyway? It's not like you're a good poster or anything. You're input isn't needed.

Monzon excepted the blame for his actions. He said,"Me and my terrible temper are responsible for this." The same fury that made him a great fighter also destroyed him. But he accepted responsibility for his actions. And you're not going to ignore the greatest middleweight champion in history. C'mon now man. What about Ali and all his racist talk? ****** Tyson? Wife beating child abusing coke head Leonard?
    Where do you stop? Mayweather.

Edwin Valero accepted the blame for killing his wife, too. He didn't deny it.

And Monzon killed her. Didn't tell anyone. Pled not guilty. And went to trial. And lost. Then he was contrite.

Years later he discussed how his temper did him in. Where do you draw the line? Do you never discuss TYSON and Leonard?
