Report in SI that Roach will act as "advisor and cutman" for Fury vs Wilder.

Interesting....didnt know Freddie could do cuts.

Today I saw a good question in youtube comments: "How a guy with a Parkinson's disease can be a cutman?"...

For me it's obvious that Fury is having second thoughts about his young trainer.

This was what I was thinking. Not really a steady hand as needed for that.
So,I agree could be that it's just a way to replace the trainer without causing loss of face for him.

Yeah I was checking out an interview withFreddie last night about this and my thought was interesting.

Claimed to have done it in less high profile fights and having learned it from Eddie Futch. His response to being asked was yeah I can do it if you want me to, but I know better guys.

If cuts come into play this might be interesting, if not we will all forget it soon enough.

This. Might just end up swapping roles with Freddie.

Dang....you are correct. I wouldn't want a barber with shaky hands giving me a razor shave.

On the upside, if Roach is on cuts, at least Fury won't be having his face washed each time he wants a drink...

Obviously if cuts become an issue it may be a problem, but I think its a gamble worth taking to get Freddie's experience into the corner. Impressive move by Team Fury.

According to this article Fury wasn't liking the Big Bear altitude and is now based at Roach's gym:

Train and live in high altitude is not the best idea.

I think his trainer has probably done a fine job but he doesn't have much experience in the corner.
    It makes sense.

He's probably giving Fury tactical advise as well. The more help the better

Freddie Roach is shot to smithereens.

If I was a betting man and I seen Roach turn up in my man's corner, then I'd be sweating the proverbial buckets.
