They heard about it in round 9 because that is the round in which Vitali quit.

Vital quit claiming an injury , Vinters the interpreter then informed HBO about the injury , HBO then declared he quit because of that injury.
HBO , nor anybody else knew of the injury until the round Vitali tapped out in , which was round 9. I repeat - they did not know about the injury before round 9.

Because the video shown here offers commercials in those rounds. DUH. If you had access to the audio in those rounds, you'd hear it. Now once again did you hear what was clearly said in the post fight interview? You seem to be ducking that. The injury happened round three they said.
