I hope Fury wins, but I'm hearing Deontay was spotted with his mask alongside a hooded Al Haymon worshipping Molech at Bohemian Grove. Frightening!
I said weeks prior on here that Hughie's fight with Parker was gonna get pulled and a few people disagreed, even though it was painfully obvious. There was no promoting of that fight, and anytime it was brought up in discussion with Peter or Frank Warren, they quickly changed the subject or made some strange word choices. It was obvious. That's not been the case with this fight though, even though I was very pessimistic if it would happen.
Very very good chance, however over the 12 round course I'm expecting Fury to take a couple flush. As good as he appears, looks are very deceiving in boxing. I'm hoping both fighters come out of this fight with enhanced reputations. Big ask I know.
The closer the fight gets the more confidence I have in Fury. Wlad couldn't land that right hand all night and Barring a major lapse in concentration from Fury, I don't see how Wilder does either
YES CUTTHROAT!! A lot of egg is going to be dripping from faces and Keyboards on here on the 2nd December. Fury is going across to get the job done, regardless of people moaning about his comeback fights. Ortiz gassed and left himself open because he's a 50 year old man. Tyson won't leave that open, he'll do a better job than he did on Klitschko, mark my words!
Fury changed his training location a few days ago. Came down from the high altitude of Big Bear and training at normal altitude now. I don't know whether than means training camp has gone well or not.
It's odd in that he obviously looks in better shape than he was, but he still doesn't look in good shape in a broader sense. If he was making his debut you'd probably think he was a fairly flabby guy in average condition, so I'm a bit wary of saying how great he looks. All we can really say is that he's lost a lot of weight. We won't know how good that weight loss has been until he's fighting again at a decent level.
You can't land what you don't throw, Wlad barely threw any punches that night. Wilder will throw and he will connect. Factoring in the way Fury has abused his body, he's probably getting wiped out.
That was like two years ago. Ridiculously poor opposition (which he didn’t look good against), major inactivity, lives off of one win, is still spending a good portion of his camp losing weight, is getting on in age, hasn’t fought anyone dangerous since Wlad, and Wilder has been active and is in his prime. Also, Fury bangs on about his skills yet you can see what he does. Wilder is genuinely unpredictable. Wilder via Brutal KO.
I for one was certain this fight in 2018 had injury pull out written all over it, looks like I was wrong. I'm really intrigued by the fight, can't wait for it
