If you think Margarito is innocent how do you explain the picture?

Here's a thought....why not do research in to this from all the dozens of people who have written and investigated this already. But hey, fingers in the ears works well too if you choose that route.

I'm no margarito fan boy but how come nobody noticed that night? when resto cheated he was caught shaking hands with Collins sr when sr noticed the gloves had been tampered

Antonio Margarito took off his gloves left on the ramps, got his hand raised, hugged and shook hands with people and posed for photos and interviews

everyone in that ring has been involved in dozens/hundreds of boxing events, how come no one noticed right then and there? Cotto was right next to him when they announced the winner they probably shook hands and embraced, how come he didn't notice then?

    to me it's all circumstantial

The truyh here is EVERYONE really kniows Antonio Margarito was RAILROADED both Mayweather & Dela Fisgnets were scared ****less to get in the ring with him but he had to go. He wasn't supposed to beat Cotto but he did he legitimately kicked his ass and was set to do it again.
I was hoping the CSAC would try to indict Tony but their lawyers obviously advised them not to as they had no proof of any wrongdoing. If they had indicted Tony he;s be a very rich man today
This is just one more example of the corruption that's is destroying the greatest sport in the world
Well done CSAC you ruined a great fighters career Hope youre proud if yourselves

Exactly hardly the actions of a guilty man, sure this thing does go on,Froch v Bute and lately Smith v Groves are highly suspect cases of crunching power on the night against all expectations and both left the ring half an hour later with their gloves still on.

If there was any real, hard evidence Margarito is prosecuted, period.

Margarito had zero respect for Cotto's punching power, absolutely none. He probably would have whooped his ass anyway

I think you may have overlooked a certain fight with Shane Mosley in your recollections.

Cotto(e) was falling apart and his face was starting to get busted up in the rematch as well, can you explain that?

Damn good thing Cotto targeted a Pac inflicted pre-existing injury eh? Otherwise we were on the verge of definitively knowing the answer, Tony was walking through bomb after bomb and getting to him, beating him down, the fight was on a similar trajectory as the first, only the HBO narrative had to be preserved, so in comes the Doctor to do their bidding and save Cotto from an eminent repeat.
