If you think Margarito is innocent how do you explain the picture?

Do you think Mosley that much of a bigger hitter than Cotto at 147? I always felt like Cotto was the bigger puncher but Mosley almost killed Marg and he rocked Floyd bad. While Cotto couldn't really hurt Marg.

No, but I think stylistically Mosley was always going to be more of a problem than Cotto was, and its hard to concentrate on a match after getting caught with handwraps, that could lead to a permanent ban from the sport and an end to your livelihood, being put in the position to have to question what comes next after the sport, that's not a good headspace to be in anyway, much less before getting in the ring with a guy as good as Mosley.

    Magarito was not innocent.
First, Margaricheato had knocked out many opponents before that illegal substance was found but after that one-year ban he had never knocked out anybody anymore. Where was his power gone?
Second, If Margaricheato and his team didn't do anything wrong about this then why would not they protest the ban? Why did they accept the penalty (a one-year ban)?
    Can anyone answer these questions?

He was on his way to TKOing Cotto for a second time before the bogus TKO loos and the he fought Pacquiao, who he never landed on enough to stop, and even then he had Pac against the ropes ripping him to the body almost causing spasms, Manny was laid up for a week after that fight by his own admission from the pounding his body took. Then he retired.

The Margarito that just came out of retire a tear ot two ago, is a 40 year old shell of a fighter.

Cotto beat Margaricheato in the rematch by way of TKO. We all knew this.

Of course he did, by beating on the eye that Pac had already injured, it was far from a KTFO TKO. That being said, in the two rounds before the stoppage, Margarito was coming on strong starting to back Cotto up, and Cotto's face, was.... yes, marking up again.

This is after 9 rounds with Margarito barely landing on him clean in the rematch, without the supposed handwraps.

That's a hell of a lot of damage from a guy with thicker gloves and verifiably no handwraps isn't it?

Margarito was down 8-1 on all cards and, while he did a little better in the 9th than he did in the 8th (which just about convinced Margo to call it a day), Cotto was still landing more than his fair share, and, unlike the first fight, was able to push Margo back in the clinches and walk him back to ring center.

In MSG given the sustained success that he'd had, no way does Cotto fold completely even if Margo finds a way to surge in the last three. Cotto's D had improved a bit but he was still absorbing some punishment from Margo the second time around and was dealing with it a whole lot better.

If the fight continues, Cotto wins it anyway, at worst by scores of 116-112 across the board.

It's considerably less damage that Cotto sustained in the first fight. Also, Margo was landing at a pretty decent clip in the rematch (121 punches landed in the first six rounds of the 1st fight, to 105 in the rematch. That's basically only two connects less per round, and Cotto looked a whole lot worse by the end of the sixth than he did at the end of the second fight).

It's circumstantial evidence, but given the type of damage Cotto sustained in the first fight and the fact that Lujan suffered that entirely strange ear rip in his fight with Margo, I'm inclined to arch an eyebrow when people get indignant about the possibility that Margo and co might have doctored the gloves in some way.

It was not strange at all to see Cotto's face look like that. His face became like that many times after the fights. Just take a look at his face after the fight against Pac.

I don't think Mosley fought a 100% Margo, his mind couldn't of been on the job after Naazim Richardson blew it all out of proportion ! He tried that crap since hasn't he !
