Chavez was over the hill but that was still one of Kostya's best wins. No-one else ever put Chavez down like that. It was like Mike Tyson's win over Larry Holmes. Close to a career best performance against an over-the-hill ATG.
It was NOTHING like Tyson's win over Holmes, you idiot. Holmes would go on to beat Mercer and give Holy a tough fight years AFTER the Tyson fight. He still had something left in the tank when Mike blew him away. Chavez was completely and utterly shot when Tszyu beat him. He had NOTHING left, and he had already lost to Willy Wise for Christ sake. Stupid comparison.
You've been sooking about Tszyu for so long it isn't funny. He's been retired for 13 years now. Time to give it a rest.
Nothing I said was inaccurate. Your statement was comical. Chavez was a journeyman level fighter when Tszyu beat him. He had just got comprehensively whupped by a journeyman in Willy Wise. Hardly the same as Holmes when he lost to Tyson.
I agree both have no great wins and hid out in one division instead of daring to be great by moving up and facing better fighters.
I posted a two-line statement. In the first line my first words were: "Chavez was over the hill". I reiterated that sentiment in the second line, Chavez being: "an over-the-hill ATG". Chavez & Larry were the same age when they fought Tszyu & Iron Mike respectively. I think your pathological hatred of Tszyu is causing you to overreact.
He's moved back over there? I've seen him attending numerous fight cards over there but I didn't realize he was living make home in Mother Russia again. Tim Tszyu is living and fighting over in Oz.
