    AJs results against the top 5 based on where he is now?

    1. Lewis- AJ loses via KO inside 5
    2. Frank Bruno- AJ wins via KO inside 8
    3. Tyson Fury- AJ loses via UD12
    4. Bob Fitzimmons- AJ wins via KO inside 7
    5. Joe Bugner- AJ wins a narrow UD over 12.

    I will judge him when his career is over - a career to date fighting puddings, with the exception of old Wlad and PED Povetkin, cannot be judged against Lennox Lewis types.

    Obviously it has to be something of a guessing game with Fitzsimmons but I can't see how he goes a round with Joshua. He was a similar size to George Groves.

    He / his team would have ducked them all then called them out in the media to come to the table once they’d all signed to fight each other instead. Then the chinny robot would fight some shot/old/fat/midgets instead on the Wembley big tellies for the sky addicts

    Today’s Bruno? No way they’ll call that guy out live and exclusive on sky sports paytowatchit

    Prime Bruno though? Absolutely - that big frank doesn’t fit the tried and tested formula of shot/old/fat/midget in any way

    Joshua is already the second most accomplished British heavyweight of all time (at least for the next couple of weeks). It’s dubious to include Fitz in a discussion with modern day heavies;

    There’s no reason to think that anyone outside of Lewis (and possibly Fury) would be favoured to beat him. I’m sure some hipster could put together an argument about why Henry Akinwande would jab and grab his way to victory, but realistically boxing is about levels and Joshua is levels above the vast majority of British heavyweights in history.

    Yet he has only had one credible fight against old Wlad, one decent fight against an old faded PED Povetkin - the rest were zero threat puddings ranging from Hector Avilla to Paint Dry Power Puff Parker.

    Outside of Lewis, which British heavyweights actually do have multiple victories against prime world level opposition?

    AJ is far better than Bruno was and Frank fought inferior fighters aside from in world title fights, AJ would have fought Smith and done much better than Frank did.
