Oh there's def a risk but not sure quite how high it is ,not sure if any disease passed via blood has been picked up in a fight .But always a first I suppose for some unlucky fella .
Same here ,I believe that when the aids virus is exposed to air it dies More or less straight away so be extremely unlikely to transmit that way.
Nevertheless it's a risk and it's why those who are HIV positive are banned from participating in combat sports in most jurisdictions.
Bottom line, it was a risk. His opponents didn't know about it for the most part until the announcement. His last fight was highly controversial, but at least the opponent knew what he was getting into. Morrison had training issues. And drinking issues.
