Probably a dumb question but what does that mean?

He was just solid all round.

Mikey Roman last week was ridiculous.

Vitali was arm punching, not sitting down on his shots or turning into them. No weight behind them, which is actually worse, as it was a sustained beating for 12 rounds which can do more lasting damage than a quick stoppage.

Briggs has a decent enough chin, he's no Oliver McCall though.

    No. Definitely not.

Wlad is much harder hitter than Vitali, and he beat Mariush Wach like a drum...
Povetkin beat Wach like a drum too, as well as Jarrell Miller.

Wach is yet to taste the canvas.

So the winner is MARIUSZ WACH

Hopkins against Kovalev. Especially considering age.

New to boxing? We're here to help

It means he was not using his legs and hips to get the torque that results in powerful punches. He was using only the strength in his arms.

Nothing like new to boxing but thanks for the concern, Iam new to speaking to people internationally and their terminology.
Iam happy to be educated I fact that’s what Iam here for, thanks guys.
I call them push shots, never heard them called anything else.
I can’t deny there was a lot of arm punching for sure but it was a relentless accumulation of heavy shots none the less, I might of come across wrong but I wasn’t commenting on which fighter took the most technically efficient punches. But it was still a memorable display of durability.

Vitali was protecting his dodgy shoulder with the arm punching but was a nasty beating he gave out. Fight should really have been stopped.
