I had only watched some of early rounds of this fight until tonight and though Fury looked good but after watching the last Rd a minute ago, I`d have to say he looked really messy and there was only one clean punch landed, a right by Wlad, so was this god boxing in the last Rd? Wa Fury good enough in that Rd to beat someone like Wlider?

Fury cared more about pulling his pants up than dodging Klitschko's punches in that last round. I think he did just fine. It was also the only round Wlad won in the whole fight..

Yeah, and the only round in which Wlad actually applied some pressure and threw punches.

Fury wasn't impressive the last round but it was Wlad that basically threw the fight away. If he'd fought like that from the start he would probably have stopped Fury.

The 12th was Wlad's best round, Fury didn't look great at all. Would assume it was a mixture of fatigue and Wlad just having a better round

So now we are criticising a boxer for losing a round?

I don't really remember, but I do know that Fury easily won that fight and then blessed us with his lovely voice after.

Fury wasnt impressive in that last round but i think weve seen enough "last rounds" in our time to know the Boxer that is well behind goes for broke and the Boxer that is well in the lead covers up and rides it out rather than tries to win that round.

I get the point of the thread, Wilder wont be doing what Wlad did for 11 rounds he is more likely to be doing what he did in the 12th but we will see, If Wilder is making it easy for Fury and leaving his chin up in the air all night like he usually does then maybe Fury is the 1st fighter good enough with the reach and size to start taking those little invitations and maybe Wilder will keep getting tagged and be a bit put off himself. We just dont know.

People getting messed in the heads over this. Furys tactics worked wonders against Wlad but i cant think of any other heavyweights that would be quite as timid as Wlad was for 11 rounds. But then people are talking like 1 punch off Wilder and its all over, just 1 punch. Ive seen many people punched many times by Deontay Wilder so thats full of **** too. Wilder can knock you out with 1 punch, he cant knock you out with every punch. Hes gotta make sure he lands one of his bombs or Fury is going nowhere.

He's often fought at higher pace. He basically did nothing all night other than stare lovingly into Fury's eyes.

    Fury befuddled Wlad.
Wlad fought the same way he always fought.

It sounds like Fury took a beating in the last round the way some people go on. In reality Wlad didn't do much other than hit Fury as he was reaching around to pull up his trunks.
Fury had no arms for portions of the last round and Wlad couldn't even stagger him never mind drop him or knock him out.
In fact Fury had no feet either as the old beaten up boots he wore tore the skin clean off him which limited his movement by the time the 12th round came.

Those shorts constantly falling down made me uncomfortable just watching it.

As for the OP, it was a clear Wlad round. With literally seconds to go, Fury just walks at Wlad with his hands down by his side and chin in the air. Very stupid and could have resulted in him easily being knocked out with a few seconds remaining.
