According to ESPN reporter Brett Okamoto,Nick has agreed to the fight in Las Vegas which will be his 1st fight in 4 years as long as there as no injuries etc.
Cool that Nick is back, and against a fellow Strikeforce alum in Jorge Masvidal. I'm going to guess that Nick's workrate will be a big asset against Masvidal, who has a bad habit of coasting when he shouldn't. I'm not going to lie though, I was hoping if Diaz returned it would be against Robbie Lawler part II. And I think Masvidal vs Kevin Lee would have been a dope way to kick off a 165 lbs. division.
Him and his dick head brother constantly think they are worth millions per fight yet were made to look like low level turds in title fights. Doubt either of them will ever show up to a weigh in let alone the cage again.
Fact is despite not fighting for such a long period they are still amongst the UFC top draws and are both easily worth millions,the main difference between them and the other fighters who are worth similar money is the Diaz brothers no there true worth and part of the reason for there long absence is getting the deal they deserve.
This is hilarious considering the way you try and pump up Askren,who has spent his career building his record up against mediocre talent and who will likely be exposed for the fraud he is within a couple of fights in the UFC,while the Diaz brothers have been competing and beating elite competition the last decade or so and now aren't interested in fighting anybody but the best and who are prepared to sit out part of there prime until they are paid what they are worth. Not sure what the con artist part is about since they are as real as it gets but since you have never been a fan of either Diaz brother I guess your looking for reasons to hate

Nick hasn't been relevant since the Condit fight, what 6 years ago now? and he's only shown up to fight every couple of years to lie down and lose for a payday all while barking from the sidelines making ridiculous claims and demands. While I dislike Nate's similar tendencies he's at least done some relevant things in recent years unlike his overrated brother.
Who honestly champions the stupid Diaz brothers bank accounts? They are niche attractions at best and not worth millions FFS. Coupled with their obnoxious, degenerate nature that also lacks mass appeal, I would say the UFC has done well by them and this is not even factoring in all the fights they turn down particularly the little one. IDK about you guys but I just cannot sleep at night knowing those tow obnoxious pricks are not making millions. LOOOOL.
LOL Admittedly I've been a huge Nick and Nate fan forever with Nick being 1 of my all-time favorite fighters but I try keep it real and am not in denial about the facts like Nick being obviously irrelevant at the top of the division due to his time away and I was replying to the guy talking about them still both not being worth millions despite the fact they are both among UFCs current top draws. Just like you calling them con artists I can't believe anybody would ever associate either as fighters who "show up every couple of years to lie down and lose for a payday" When they do show up for a fight I know Nick or Nate will still be there fighting to that final bell even when they have been outclassed. I guess I can understand the jealousy of fighters or fans of fighters with boring styles and/or personality who don't get paid as much but they can't expect the same money if nobody is interested or wants to watch them fight. At the end of the day almost all of the fighters are under paid compared to what the company is making and they need to realize they only have a short career and need to start demanding more and doing more to promote themselves.
First of all you're putting words in my mouth. I called NICK a con artist - NOT Nate. That he is. At least that's what he's been for the better part of the last decade. Nick the diva hasn't had a win since fighting a blown up disinterested Penn SEVEN years ago and his last good win was probably Daley in Strikeforce - EIGHT years ago.
