It looks like Nigel Benn (aged 54), and Chris Eubank (aged 52) are heading for a rubber match!

God i hope not. 2 legends that dont need to be doing **** like this as they have already done more than enough in their careers.

 

They’re probably counting on this age of “I don’t care, so long as it’s entertaining” to help them get some solid paychecks. Can’t see that happening though.

 

Nigel Benn was completely shot to pieces in 1996 so this isn't going to go well.

I saw Eubank walking around a few months ago and he looks in incredible shape for any age, nevermind 52 year old. But there's a huge difference between looking good and actually performing.

 

If this does happen again then I would fancy Nigel Benn via TKO. He has always been more determined and would walk through a brick wall to land on Chris. I understand Chris Eubank has been the blocker to this one, and I still doubt he actually wants it unless its a pure cash out.

Nothing stopping it from a medical perspective as they could go semi licenced or white collar if needs be.

Sad to see. I was a kid watching 1 and 2 and these are the ones that got me hooked. I think Benn still looks awesome on the pads and can still crack, but when he gets in the ring his timing and punch resistance will be terrible. Same goes for Eubank(maybe not as chinny), I imagine he will hang in there long enough for Benn to throw his lot and then take over and stop him, whilst looking bad himself(just my opinion). Both are gonna look like ****s, but I will definitely be watching it !
