Gorman would chin Browne easier than he would Leapai. In fact with Leapai it potentially goes the distance. Browne is completely done, at least Leapai has the potential to put some new challenges to Gorman plus is a good name to have on his record.
For a 22 year old heavyweight I don't think this is bad at all. Leapai is limited as hell, but he does come to fight and can punch. I think it's OK.
If it was Buatsi taking on someone else other than Johnson then you would be the first to pull them up over it. The board have ordered Gorman v Dubois but they crack on and fight others and of course you have no grumbles.
I'm not as big on this opponent as I've never thought Leapai was any good in the first place but it's a small step in the right direction for Gorman in terms of his career. Gorman to win in 7.
Not true. And it’s also not a fair comparison. Johnson is British Champ, a belt he hasn’t even defended yet and he has a **** poor CV anyway. He’s also got no chance of beating any of the world champions, so Eddie chucking him In with Bivol, would only serve as him being live bait for Eddie to try to sign His opponent which we’ve seen before with the Beterbiev fight. Therefore, why not put on Johnson - Buasti? I’m sure Eddie could pay both kids well. If not, I would also be happy with Buatsi v Burton. If Johnson wants to get smashed again by Bivol in under 4 rounds crack on. Gorman - Dubious isn’t even for a belt. I would like to see that fight asap. Frank needs to get that on by summer next year latest. Gorman - Lepai is decent matchmaking in its own right...I wasn’t even thinking of a Dubious fight in comparison. If frank can give Dubios a good fight also, I’m happy with that.
A Charr fight would be a good .I would love to see Gorman beat Charr up!.Charr is stupid enough to take the fight.
