Lomachenko could do to Pacquiao what Manny did to Oscar

The fact that Pacquiao constantly needs money (whether its for charity work in his homeland or a lavish lifestyle is irrelevant) he could make a mega payday vs Lomachenko . . . .Vasyl could make the offer to Manny but insist that the fight be at 135 lbs thus causing him to melt down like the Pacquiao people did to De la Hoya. . . .Manny would take this as a high money fight without Arum pulling the strings anymore. A fight versus Pacquiao is exactly the type of fight that would launch Lomachenko into the elite names outside of boxing and into the greater sports universe.

It would be like Ray Leonard vs Norris in 1991, complete boxing lesson from Loma, no contest.

Pacquiao moved up from 135 to 147 to fight Oscar what concessions would Loma make?

I guess Lomachenko could do that at this point, but it's not quite the same thing. De La Hoya was 35 and Pacquiao would be 40. Pacquiao gave up 5 inches of height, 6 inches of reach, and started 40 pounds south of where the fight was contested. If Lomachenko fought Pacquiao he'd have an inch and a half height advantage an inch and a half less reach and would only have started 9 pounds below where the fight was contested. Not quite the same accomplishment, unless you are solely referring to a slight weight drain.

    Lol this. People rewriting history.

You guys do know that Oscar fought Floyd to a split decision just the year before, 35 years old and was cutting down to meet Floyd at 147? Pac was just a replacement for Floyd who only had 1 fight at LW and was ready to jump another 2. In comparison, his jump is even bigger than Mikey Garcia vs Spence. Pac jumped up 3 weight divisions within a year to challenge a former MW who just recently Ktfo mayorga, did with Floyd and beat Forbes on his way down.

The way it went down was, Pac demoslished Oscar so Oscar must have been drained. He fought Hatton at 140 which was 50/50 and he demolished him too, Hatton must have been shot. He fought cotto at 145, cotto was shot too after he demolished him.

What dont make sense is, if Pac was jut lucky against those 140-147 cos of shot/weight then how come he proceeded to do the same to Margarito, clottey and Mosley? All those opponents were around the same level at the time, and so Pac demolished them equally.

And Pac would ktfo lomachenko. Pac wanted that fight and Loma didn’t want none of it. He would have met him at 140. Pac goes down a weight class and Loma goes up one, which is a lot less than what Pac had to do with moving up 3 weight classes in a year whilst odlh moved down half a weight class. Forbes fight was contested at 150/152 if I recall.

Lomachenko seems to be the only fighter now to speak candidly and extensively about his boxing legacy.

I'd take the Pac fight if I was him. For money and fame. Loma said "Pac is too old now". Ok to win the fight? Yes, that's true. It wont help his legacy but it will build his name and drawing power. Which will help him secure legacy fights in the future.
