For starters your the 1 who needs to use ad hominem and smear to try to support your opinion, accusing Nick of turning up every few years to lie down and take a payday, which is the worst thing to accuse a fighter of.
In reply to the guy making the foolish argument Nick wasn't worth at least a million dollars and used facts to back up what is already known by anybody with a clue about the sport, that the fighters are severely underpaid

Nick hasn't been serious in a long time dude. FFS. Do you think he showed that against Silva and GSP? He looked disinterested and utter **** in both of those fights, especially against Silva.

As I said earlier despite being a huge fan of Nick I'm not in denial about his current relevance or how bad he looked in his last couple of fights against 2 of the ATGs.
He was out classed by GSP who was the P4P best at the time and who was smart enough to know his best chance of winning was to wrestle **** him to a boring decision, his worst performance was in his last fight after 2 years away fighting against the much bigger Anderson Silva who needed steroids to help.

You mean the same Silva who was coming off a huge a layoff himself a brutal injury? That Silva? Nick looked absolutely terrible in that fight and simply looked like a guy showing up for a payday. Clowning around while clearly losing and just making an absolute fool out of himself in general. Look. I used to be a big Nick fan 10 years or so ago when he fought regularly and had serious ambitions. That's just not the case anymore. It's all bark and no substance from him at this point.

I'm pretty sure I just said his performance against Silva was his worst and while you and the minority can say Nick made a fool out of himself with his antics myself and a lot of others were sadly more entertained by him then the majority of a boring disappointing fight and saw it more as him making Silva look silly due to his unwillingness to engage and being to content to just counter.
If you know anything about Nick you would know he is a fighter in every sense of the word and does and says anything before and during the fight ,on many occasions getting his opponent angry and doing things they wouldn't normally do.

Those antics are entertaining if they're actually frustrating the opponent and causing them to make mistakes and lose the fight. Clowning around when you're clearly losing is making a mockery of the sport. You seem to have invented this notion in your head that the majority of fight fans are entertained by those kind of pointless antics and that only a small irrational disgruntled minority is irritated by them - simply not true. The Diaz bro's have always been polarizing love or hate characters. I've never said they couldn't fight or were without talent. That's an incorrect read you've made. I do find them incredibly annoying and grating to listen to and am annoyed by their antics and diva tendencies, they've also got one of the worst fan bases in the sport... But they can definitely be entertaining to watch and have produced some memorable moments in the sport without a question(more so Nate than Nick especially in recent years)
