If fury beats wilder and grabs the WBC title, and uysk has a few easy fights in hw and they both can't get the fight with Joshua, this would be a great match up. It would be one of uysks hardest fight at heavyweight stylewise, the awkwardness and size of fury would give uysk aload of problems. But once uysk gets the distance it could be fury who will be struggling.
If Fury can get past Windmiler (don't believe he will), I expect him to be the worst style matchup available for Usyk. Plus the money is with Joshua, he signed a co-promotion deal with Fast Eddie/SulphurRoom, so I think Usyk will take the Joshua route, even if he has to wait a bit longer.
I actually think Fury might be harder for Usyk than anybody else at HW.I don't think Usyk hits hard enough to KO Fury and Fury's size and awkward movement will be plenty difficult for Usyk to adjust to. I feel Usyk can outbox 99% of HW's but Fury has the reach and skillset to make it really hard on him. On the other hand I suppose you might argue Fury can't crack an egg at this juncture and that Usyk will straight up out work him. Could be very interesting.
Too many "ifs" at this point. But, in theory, Fury is the most difficult opponent for Usyk at heavyweight.
What has everybody else seen in the Seferi and Pianeta fights that I haven't? It's like Fury was caught for taking a banned substance, then was inactive for 3 years, ballooned to 400lb, drank himself stupid, took drugs, nearly ate himself to death and is now BETTER than he was before all of that. WTF are some of you talking about? Pianeta and Seferi were selected for a reason, very very easy fights, Seferi was a joke and he just quit and Pianeta dragged Fury the distance in a fight so boring I feel to sleep twice. Now I seeing things like "Fury will KO Wilder". It's absolutely bizarre, you're basing these predictions off of nothing remotely solid, it's either just a gut feeling or what you want to happen. Fury was boring before Klitschko, ridiculously boring during the Klitschko fight and has done nothing in the ring afterwards and is seen as some type of living legend. This is a joke.
Every one was behind glass shoulders, knees and toes haye for his comeback because he managed to look the part, but was knocking down useless bumsnbefore stepping up getting exposed by bellew. Fury has more tools and advantages than haye ever had at hw.
In my opinion Haye is a conman, I'm not calling Fury a conman. I actually wasn't really digging Fury out, I'm asking a question to Fury fans, some Wilder fans and whoever else who seems to believe Fury is now a far better fighter than he was before Klitschko and the drink, drug and food abuse? So what have I missed in those Seferi and Pianeta fights? Because Fury didn't look very good.
