Last one was Ryan Burnett vs Zhanat Zhakiyanov on 21/10/2017

So whats the point of British Boxing fans paying a Sky Subscription when all the world title fights are PPV? All you get for your Sky Sports money are some NextCan shows

PPV mugs are not the only mugs now, Sky Sports subscription Mugs can be added to the list

When do you think the next BT Sport non ppv world title fight will be? At least Sky get the US matchroom cards with world title fights.

This is the way it is now.

That said apart from when Sky stopped ppv for a few years i wonder how many world title fights have been on sky in the uk?

Add BT Sports subscription mugs to the list as well.

I cancelled BT Sports and 7 out of the 8 Sky Sports channels (kept the PL channel) a year ago and have no regrets whatsoever.

Well since the Burnett fight, off the top of my head they've had:

    Selby vs Warrington
    Barnes vs Rosales
Tete vs Navarez / Tete vs Gonya
    Selby vs Rodriguez
    James Degale vs Truax
    Flanaghan vs Hooker

all on BT Sport non PPV

Those fights weren't on PPV ?? Don't understand that at all, I'd have paid £20 to watch Flanaghan vs Hooker.

I am one of those Sky Subscription mugs and you are absolutely correct in respect of the boxthing content.

If I did not also watch Golf, Cricket, Rugby League, Darts, Football and Babenation on 906 - I would tell them to stick it.

Take out Flanagan vs and you certainly get ring time for your £20

You seem to have forgotten that Sky have other sports on beyond boxing. It's good for watching football, rugby, cricket, F1, golf, darts etc.

Are they losing some of the Golf Content?

Sky is a rip off, if you find football horrendously dull. Unless they start sticking Luton games on week in week out, they can stick their football package.

I sometimes pay per month via Now TV depending on the Cricket and Boxing.

BT works better for me, having the English Rugby, MOTOGP and random motor racing. Very annoyed they are losing UFC

BT lost Scottish football recently also. Signs are not good at at the BT tower right now. Making serious cut backs across the board.

Sky hold PGA tour golf rights till 2022 then discovery take over.

Sky lost the USPGA. Eleven sports picked it up and got a whole load of stick for poor coverage.

The top man at BT is taking them in a new direction as the huge sums paid out for sports has not been met with an army of subscribers.

Serious downsizing of the BT Sports budget is well underway and the only good thing to come out of this is Fish Warden may get a huge rogering along the way - maybe this is why he keeps his Boxnation channel floating along without much boxing these days.

BT will not bid anywhere near the sums paid for existing sports so as the contracts end one by one, it looks like an orderly withdrawal.

I would imagine warren is probably mandated to put atleast 2/3 PPV events on a year. If he can do that the boxing rights fees practically pay for themselves from a BT perspective. Issue is it will be difficult to sell PPV with the roster frank has

You missed the word next. If Frampton wins, i suspect he does, he'll be having ppv fights if in the UK. Degale has lost his belt, tete who knows, Hearn has lots of belts so they are no goes for bt right now

    If Fury Wins he's ppv.

BT only have Fury and Frampton who could make a ppv level fight right now so you can bet they'll be ppv in 2019

The big issue is if those two lose. They would need to rebuild and wouldn’t have many opponents that could sell a PPV who are available and not signed to matchroom
