Could he get past the following:
    Jack Sharkey
    Max Schmeling
    Max Baer
    Primo Carnera
    Young Stribling
    Tommy Loughran

He wouldn't. Jones wouldn't have a speed or skill advantage against Stribling, Loughran, and Sharkey. Also, Jones lacks the power to keep Carnera or Baer form running over him.

    Probably not.

He would probably take more fights at heavyweight however, dye to the smaller purses at light heavy.

Schmeling would destroy Jones easily. Roy would beat Carnera.

Louis had a better defense than Jones, the only thing that would stop Jones from getting knocked out earlier than Louis, wass the fact that he wouldn`t be coming towards Max as much as Louis did, if Roy comes forwards in this one he`ss doomed, Max was an offensive mastermind, Roy was never in the ring with wnyone on his level, Toney didn`t cut the ring off on Roy at all.

And Carnera size could pose a problem for the much smaller Jones. If he catches Jones with an uppercut, RJJ could be doomed.

Tommy Loughran is probably the only fight he can be competitive in. Being a Philly guy I have always thought Loughran was greater as well as better. But Loughran is likely not stopping RJJ at LHW or HW.

I still favor a Loughran but this would likely be his best shot, which might see RJJ in the title picture but just short of winning it IMO

I don't think Carnera or Baer would lay a hand on him.

Ahhh....so you think RJJ would just **** his shorts and faint also? Fair call mate, I can’t really disagree.
