You didn't watch the fights, did you?

Golovkin beat him twice. Straight up outworked him, outboxed him and used his face as a punchbag. So sorry you had to see it, I know your heart breaks at the thought.

    I'm extremely consistent.

Canelo knew GGG was Cotto's mandatory before he even fought Cotto, and he knew he'd inherit the mandatory if he beat Cotto.
Charlo was GGG's mandatory before the Canelo fight was signed, but now that Canelo won, he didn't inherit the mandatory?

    Double standards.

You'd have to be a total Clenelo nutsack hanger or a paid shill not to see this.

He knew before he fought Cotto that GGG would be mando. 15 days my ass.

Of course, because he aged GGG by a lot. Gave him time to do his clenbuterol cycles and bulk up. Golovkin would have KO'd him straight up back then.

Boom boom is a legend but a quick Ray Manicini Golovkin search on google will show you that he is not a Canelo fan but a GGG fan.

The 2nd fight I thought Canelo edged it.

Shut your ***** ass up. I'll slap you so hard you'd be writing out your typical novel length responses to a PTSD forum looking for comfort.

Watch out, buddy...shadow has got a 16% like ratio, while you're stuck at 14%. Moreover, he joined two years before you did, and those two facts combined means he's the top dog amongst you two...

That's according to Shadow ofcourse, and I personally don't subscribe to that type of social media inspired epeen business...so slap away, m8:boxing1Show triple one what his likes are worth!

I tend to agree, however GGG won the first one - so the record being 1W-1D in Canelo's favor doesn't really reflect events.

    I sure did.

Golovkin beat him twice did he? Last time I checked Golovkin has a total of ZERO wins vs Canelo. And it's clear by now that your heart breaks because of it ! My heart breaks because you've deluded yourself into thinking GGG won? Why would that break my heart? That's your issue buddy. Canelo's the Unified Middleweight Champ and GGG is belt-less, and you can't stand it. That's why you continue to complain about it and make excuses. I'm thrilled about how everything turned out ! Lets not get it twisted : My heart is happy and you're massively heart broken about all this !

You're consistent are you? You cry about how the WBC is treating GGG but support how they treated Canelo the first time he was MW Champ. That's the definition of inconsistent.

Are you denying that there was a 15 day timetable following the Khan fight? Don't you remember GGG showed up in the stands at the Khan fight, gave an interview where he was talking about 15 days? Any way you slice it, the WBC was completely unreasonable there. Forcing a fighter to agree to a mandatory before he even becomes champ is bad enough. But then slapping a 15 day timetable after you win is even worse. The WBC tried to dictate to Canelo and he wasn't having none of that. And lets not forget Cotto refused to pay the sanctioning fees before the bout, which was part of the agreement and contract of which GGG was mandatory. Cotto completely reneged on any such agreement when he did that.

At that point Canelo had never fought a real Middleweight. He had never fought above 155 lbs before, so I think you'd agree that it was a big ask for Canelo (or any 154-lber for that matter) to fight GGG before working your way up to Middleweight naturally.

Canelo made the right decision to vacate the belt given all the shenanery going on. He was being dictated to by the WBC and pressured to fight GGG in an unreasonable 15 day timetable. He was being asked to move up in weight to fight the MW King in his first real Middleweight fight. If age was working against GGG that's not Canelo's fault. One thing's clear : Canelo made the correct tactical decisions and it all worked out in the end as now he's not only the WBC Champ once again but is a Unified Champ . And it's nothing like how Floyd waited 5 or 6 years to fight Pacquiao, so you can't even compare this to that. Floyd ducked Pacquiao for years. Canelo GGG was scheduled within a year from when he vacated, so we didn't have to wait very long.

If you want to say that GGG would have KO'd him straight up back then, if that's what you need to tell yourself, if that makes you feel better, then hey believe what you want. But you also said GGG would KO him last year and that didn't happen either, so you don't exactly have any credibility when it comes to making predictions about GGG and Canelo.

Haha I like this. Good one. But lets not get it twisted : I used my stats as a response to being called a "noob". And however much you try and mock it now, it was an effective response to being called a noob. When you've been here for over 6 years and dropped the kind of knowledge I've dropped on here, it's laughable to claim noobery.

Wrong, GGG didn't win either fight. He was gifted a draw in the first fight. Canelo completely outboxed GGG, made him miss all night, danced circles around GGG, landed the better harder more impactful clean punches, landed more body shots, etc etc etc.

In some ways, Canelo was more impressive in the first fight then he was in the rematch, in how he frustrated GGG, set traps and made GGG pay. But many fans only reward fighters who come forward, which shows a fundamental lack of understanding of the sweet science and what really matters when you score a fight. So no, GGG didn't win **** against Canelo. GGG got comprehensively outboxed and exposed the first time around but got a gift and in the rematch got outslugged and beat "Mexican style".

Canelo owns GGG period ! Canelo is GGG's Daddy ! He proved over 24 rounds that he's the Best Middleweight in the World. He's the Man. GGG got dethroned. We don't give out participation trophies in boxing. It's time to stop crying and making excuses for GGG's failures and it's time to recognize Canelo as your Unfied Champ.

Don't get all bent out of shape ellerbe. You did a good job posting that video of Boom Boom acting like a GGG fangirl. You backed me up even if you wanna come at me now for "disrespecting" him.

I said he sounded like a GGG fanboy and your video showed he sounded more like a fangirl lmao. And I got plenty of respect for Boom Boom, but no self respecting man wears lipstick especially in a boxing gym. And if you're gonna talk about respect Boom Boom had the gall to Canelo an ordinary fighter?? Are you kidding me? You wanna talk about respect where's the respect there? You come across as a noob to the sport if you think Canelo's ordinary. Boom Boom is anything but a noob but he sure acts like it with statements like that. Just because you're a boxing legend doesn't mean you're impervious to acting like a nuthugger. In that video Boom Boom sounded like the biggest GGG homer I've ever heard, crying about how Lara beat Canelo. (even though he said he had it "115-114") that's pretty damn close Boom Boom for you to be crying about a decision.

You can talk all the **** you want on here ellerbe, come at me all you want but I'm not the one acting like a fangirl getting all butt hurt and what not. Boom Boom for all his accolades acted like a goddamn GGG fairy princess, and if you don't like hearing that then tough **** !!

Then how come everybody else disagrees with you?

    #corruptioninboxing

We all know it. I really don't care what the three blind mice say because the fights exist and speak for themselves.

    Absolutely consistent.

    You have reading problems.

To repeat, in a bigger font:

Canelo knew GGG was Cotto's mandatory before he even fought Cotto, and he knew he'd inherit the mandatory if he beat Cotto.
Charlo was GGG's mandatory before the Canelo fight was signed, but now that Canelo won, he didn't inherit the mandatory?

    Double standards.

You'd have to be a total Clenelo nutsack hanger or a paid shill not to see this.

Are you denying that Canelo knew that GGG would be his mandatory if he beat Cotto?

    He had MONTHS to negotiate.

Only you can buy such utter bull****. GTFOH

    1) Yes he did, because he's a coward
    2) Yes he did, because GGG would have KHTFO
    3) Wtf is "shenanery"?
