Last night was the battle of the titans, Larratt has been known as the best arm wrestler of the last decade. He was destroyed 6-0 last night by Denis, it was like watching your father get beat up right in front of you.

The Russian is a monster, 140kg of pure power. I thought Devon would find a way to ride the power and bleed him dry but his efforts were hopeless.

The king is dead, long live the king.

I can't believe nobody is interested in this great combat sport.

Larrat is past prime, should've happened 5-6 years ago.

Is he though or as Denis improved that much? Arm wrestling is just like boxing in a way because it's hard to guage wether one man has declined or wether the other man has got better. Either way it was a destruction, i can't see Devon ever being the same again.

Yep, that's the first man he's ever met who's too strong to overcome with technique. Devon has just mentioned in an interview that he feels Denis is a good 20%-30% stronger and stated that to compete and have a shot at Denis he needs to get much stronger and is not sure wether it's worth the risk. He basically said he loves armwrestling and will do it till the day he dies but does not want to die anytime soon. He's basically implying he's not willing to take the copious amounts of PED's (that Denis probably is) just to have a shot at beating the Russian and becoming the worlds best again.

Cypienkov was a legit 600 lb bencherover 5 years ago, I wonder what he is capable of now? What ever happened to that Berzink(sp) guy? He was much smaller and supposidly had beaten Cypienikov like 6 years ago. He must be in his 50's by now.

I think Brzenk is retired now, he's in his mid 50's and is certainly the best of all time at that sport. He's beat Denis before but with the right hand, Denis is unbeaten with the left hand. I'm sure he still holds the bicep curl world record. He is the walking Hulk, can crush walnuts with his fingers ffs!

Cypienikov had a real cult following on sherdog when I first heard of him. They used to refer to him as the Russian ogre with the jacked hands.

Brzenk was something else but my God was he annoying, ran his mouth constantly and just came off very obnoxious and irritating. Probably just for show but some do not respond to histrionics.

You sure it was Brzenk? He's very humble tbh.

    I held arm wrestling titles.

Cyplenkov also is a lefty, Larratt is a right dominant arm wrestler so it would have been more competitive.

Strength for strength Cyplenkov is probably the strongest raw power , Lupkes comes close but hes older now.

One thing I know Russians are the strongest ive encountered , I arm wrestled this one guy who was the pound for pound top guy in the world without knowing ,his name was Roman Tsinindley or something and he beat Breznk before once I looked him up..he was 155 pounds ...well he cleaned my clock easily, too much technique . I left the sport before I actually started training for it years ago .

Im still capable of one arm 125 concentration curls decent form ,ive done these lifts as light as 160 pounds , most top guys are on PEDs though its a sport you cant just walk into anymore at top level like anything it evolves.

Brzenk also isn't retired he just beat Dave Chaffee who is a top 5 most powerful U.S arm wrestler not long ago..hes also on some type of TRT therapy and looks more muscular more then he was 10 years ago.

The one guy that can maybe surpass Denis is a Georgian named Levan, I just can't see Larratt ever gaining the strength he needs to overcome the Russian.

I'm pretty decent myself but never competed or anything, I have only just recently started watching it tbh and was taken in by Larratt. Brzenk has to go down as the best ever though, he has been competing and beating much bigger guys for 30+ years.

I have a clip of me it was posted in Maxim Magazine site years ago..if I find it I'll post it ..it was a national championship in a ship.e Intrepid.I lost to a Brazilian national champion i was half an inch to pinning him and he went on to win...I guess partying until 4 in the morning didn't help I had about 4 hours to get ready bc the competition started at noon!

Edit...here it is I remember the name it was Arm Wrestle mania im the guy with the lines in my head /black shirt this was ten years ago...didn't win the tournament but got best hair cut and was put in their magazine...lol

The guys at Maximum were there all day , I guess they were deuchbags because they basically just put out a 2 minute or so video and didn't even give details who won..i also noticed watching it again that the beginning with the guy putting chalk on his hands was me because I had black dress pants on from the night before that's how I woke up...lol

Larratt had surgery, his arm is weaker now and he is in his 40s.
