I'd try and move things around so I can do both. Obviously I don't know the ins and outs of this commitment to his sponsors and if it can be moved to another date. I personally would of liked him to be there ringside but I don't see him not being there as a negative thing, more like a missed opportunity.

He still could of attended Wilder/Fury wasn't even official yet when Joshua/Povetkin happened as they were meant to make an official announcement after that fight about it which of course never happened.

Hi Inferno; if I remember rightly, wasn’t there a fight earlier this year - Parker perhaps - where Wilder wasn’t permitted to attend and face off with Joshua?

 

To attend would indicate an interest of a bout, a much bigger step would be to send contracts to face him, a bigger step than that would be to send signed contracts to face him, another step would be to listen to the gripes of Wilder and send a new contract with % splits and 2 way rematch clause as demanded.

But according to some Joshua is ducking, a coward and all that. Wilder has done everything to make this fight he said. Fair enough, what have you done? what have you and Finkel done? You have sent ZERO contracts and refused all contracts that have come his way, Finkel refuses to email or have meetings about a possible fight and Wilder has even said he doesnt want to deal with Joshua or Hearn any more. The last i heard on this subject Wilder was demanding 60-40 in his favour, to social media ofcourse. 60-40. What a ****ing joke.

 

Of course he won’t be there. He’ll be 5500 miles away hiding under his bed.

 

Maybe I remembered it wrong, either way it was on the same day he announced the Fury fight, would of been a great opportunity to announce the fight with all the worlds media there. He could of easily been there to promote the fight.
