Yeah I think that's at the heart of this decision. AJ announcing he's going gets the fight more publicity and strengthen some the hand of the winner in negotiations too. They have no agreement for a fight to promote, so appearing there benefits others more than aj.
No we have all seen that video. But it really doesnt help your argument, only in your own head. You hear the same thing as the rest of us but you then try to tell us he says something different.
How can you misconstrue Hearn saying he "advised" AJ to wait for 2 years before fighting Wilder? Oh that's right, you can't, at least no sensible rational person can. The only possible other inference is that AJ "is own man" and ignored the advice. Well, sorry to tell you but at the moment his actions are not congruent with that although if the fight comes off in April I will happily eat humble pie.
Easy, just say that because he said he advised something it is proof that there is a 2 year plan set in place agreed upon by both Hearns and Joshua. Easy. Thats what you are doing. Even though in the same interview Hearn makes it quite clear that Joshua wants it now and his boy Eddie is trying to make that fight now. But you still use that video as some sort of proof of something. When Hearn is sending contracts and Joshua is saying he wants Wilder next and Finkel is refusing to meet or correspond by phone and email and while Wilder is laughing off all the contracts as chicken feed even though it pisses on all his other earnings and saying he is done with Joshua and Hearn i think your claim of some 2 year plan from Hearn and Joshua is a joke, however it looks like Finkel and Wilder are running and hiding.
Theres benifits for Aj holding off for 2 years, definatly, theres benifits for both fighters. But theres no way on this earth that a team like sky, a promoter like hearn and rob mccracken think that an athelete like wilder with that physique and a style with such a low work rate will deteriorate much over two year because quite simply he wont. The benifits are more in favour of joshua, because it allows him to fight the old generation coming to the end of their careers, thats not a bad thing or a kop out. Names like povetkin will hold more weight on his cv than say parker who had a belt. He could fight up and comers and the new generation, but who are they really? Also hes quiet clearly still learning, and a student of the sport. But really can anyone say that wilder will deteriorate that rapidly in 2 years, come on please.
This was your own posts back before Joshua/Parker. "Behave yourself, nobody is afraid of Wilder, Wilder is the one who apparently wants to force the fight, he claims he wants it but don't want to turn up and put pressure on anybody in the full glare of the British press and media." "Wilder should turn up, it's a PR disaster at the moment and it will cost him if he doesn't show his face in Cardiff." No objectivity with these fanboy's. Another biased poster without integrity. Exposed.
Shame, a "he glassed me" moment could have been the best part of the night after Fury dances circles for 12 rounds, sticking out his tongue mocking Wilder being afraid to throw like Wlad, as Fury doesn't bother to. Hopefully be a decent fight though and doesn't go that way.
Seems like the bodybuilder Joshua is scared of the bomb squad. I suppose if they did catch him in the arena, he would be hauled off to the back, and giving a good working over, out of the public sight. Can't have this pompous punk showing up the devastating bronze bomber, and his promoter Haymon.
Didnt really expect him to, tbh. I havent gotten the sense that he really wants the fight. Hope Im wrong though. How you dont attend the biggest heavyweight fight of the year, and third biggest possible fight in the division period, seems odd to me, but... meh.
What did I say that was wrong, contradictory or not objective? Nobody is afraid of Wilder, Fury was inactive for years, he has had two meaningless fights and is fighting Wilder in his own country, that's how much fear Wilder actually brings. Right, as for the post and you claiming is contradictory, AJ is the number 1, regarded worldwide as number 1, AJ has a huge profile, he the real champion shouldn't be chasing challengers and Wilder is the challenger when it comes to AJ. Wilder has zero profile, he needed to turn up to show his face and try and get in to casual boxing fans conscience, he needed a profile boost and what better way than to be ringside at an AJ fight chatting his usual rubbish. Does AJ need a profile boost or does AJ need to chase these two? No. Wilder was the man screaming and shouting for AJ, he said he would "force him to fight" with public pressure so of course it would have complete sense to turn up to AJ Vs Parker. This is completely different, you have two men fighting to find out who is second best in the division, if they (or the winner) wants AJ then they have to put on a great display, do great numbers (if they want big money) and lower their demands to a sensible level. I don't see what that old post actually points out or proves but keep em coming LOL
