Has there ever been a fight in PPV history, where a fighter has headlined a PPV fight with 8 losses to his name?

I thought whyte v Parker was the step too far TBH.......

Anyone who thinks this fight will be a war like the first is on the sky brainwashed train. Whyte will fight AJ 13 th April, he will come out and be behind the jab all night lo, he won't be risking a thing.

John Ruiz vs Haye instantly comes to mind... there will be countless other examples sadly.
To be fair to Chisora he could/should have won a couple of those on the cards; Helenius, Whyte fight I had Chisora winning by a round but as everyone seems to agree could have gone either way. And I recall Ruiz doing okay against Valuev.
Chisora has hit the jackpot here as Takam was really outboxing him and making him look well past it and out of ideas until the knockout. Despite the first Whyte fight being fantastic this is not PPV worthy, but then many aren't these days that are sold as them.

There is a whole new generation of social media fans who believe every word Hearn says and follow him like he is a boxer. They buy all the PPVs and will defend him for hours.

It’s a scandal that Chisora is headlining a PPV, but they will all get away with it as it will get big numbers. You can’t knock Hearn and co’s hustle.

Personally I'm glad a fighter with 8 losses is still making good coin because it may encourage others to take fights which are 50/50 more often instead of protecting their precious "0"...

Allen/Webb, Chisora/Takam, Whyte/Parker, Its was the 2018 card of the year. On the back of that and close to 1/2 million PPV buys, Whyte vs Chisora 2 will do close to 1 million PPVs.

Chisora is also due to put in a stinker of a performance, and I fully expect him to be terrible in this fight and for Whyte to dominate.

Expect to see the Chisora that turned up for Kabayel instead of the one that turned up for Takam.

It's not even a world title fight.

Neither fighter will ever win a world title either.

The days when Gary Mason was on free BBC.... he'd bash the pair of them and he died potless.
