Fury doesn`t punch as hard as AJ.

 

Neither can claim to be no1 until they face AJ or AJ does a Fury and doesn't box anyone for years.

I expect it. If Fury was 100% id give him a good chance but he will be planning on split second reactions, twitches and head movement to make Wilder miss and and thats all within the match fit sharpness that is lacking. He looked ring rusty and not match fit or sharp in his last warm up fight, the one before that shouldnt even be classed as a fight.

 

I think Wilder has a case for being FOTY if he kayoes Fury.

Sure, Usyk has unified at Cruiser but that's really just second division for heavyweights.

Wilder & AJ are performing in first division.

A kayo win over dangerous Luis Ortiz plus another kayo win over Fury to claim the lineal championship & become the true & rightful ruler of the h/w division would make Wilder FOTY in my book.

AJ has had a good year also with strong wins against top 10 opposition (at least they were when AJ fought them) but if Wilder can pull off another devastating kayo & go lineal, I think he takes it.

I won't be shocked if Wilder pulls it off but it will be a big achievement if he does.

 

Fury could never have knocked Takam out.

 

The welter division is far stronger than the heavyweight division and not only does Wilder have to beat Fury he`s got to do it in style.

Yes, I said Furry, because this version of Fury is about as dangerous as a stuffed teddy bear. Years of pork pies and Guiness have wrecked him. He better be doing miracles in training. He had absolutely zero power against Pianeta. In fact, it seemed to me his punches might even have been refreshing Pianeta.
