Time will tell. I think Benavidez is a pretty high level counter puncher regardless of the knee.

That's your opinion and you are entitled to it. I think that you have to fight somebody in order to consolidate a division and win a title in the next.

True and it's not nor am I blaming Crawford for his resume at 135 and 140 as the divisions at the time where pretty weak as his competition shows.

However, 147 is stacked and time will tell, if could be Arun but his comp really needs a couple of upgrades.

So Crawford is fighting a old drug addict.

    Why is anyone surprised?

I said right after his last fight against that one legged man who he struggled against, that he would go on to fight another lame in quick succession.

Though I admit Crawford has out done himself here.

To get his own shovel to dig up the rotten and decayed ancient bones of Callazo for a nice and easy cheap win, is really something

There's been murmurs that Crawford has this guy as a potential opponent if Collazo pulls out

Horrible pick by Bud and his team. This will only bring more criticism.

Collazo is a southpaw killer, so for any of you were missing Bud's days of fighting orthodox, here's your chance, he probably won't even consider switches stance in this one..

I'd like to see Crawford come off his feather fist and average hitters tour and see those whiskers of his get tested by a genuine banger, preferably one he doesn't have a significant weight advantage over.

I like Crawford but he does deserve big criticism for these fights. I mean people are criticising Loma for fighting Pedraza, when Pedraza is a prime champion with only one loss and an impressive win in his previous fight. There are multiple levels between Collazo (who I thought was retired) and Pedraza, while Loma and Crawford are both at the pinnacle of the sport. Completely unacceptable fight.
