Completely agree. Everyone looks at PPV by the standard of the two boxers involved but in reality it is business and its to do with whether it gains more money by going PPV.
Nobody can say Whyte Chisora is not PPV as they don't know what the fight is going to be like. If it is as good as the first one with some excellent fights on the undercard then I would say you get your money worth.
It's about whether your prepared to pay the money beforehand and until people stop paying then PPV is here to stay.

    People still moaning about PPVs!!!

    Hes not worthy of one!

Its not even for a world title!

    The undercards are crap!

The list is endless and yet folk still moan and even worse they still BUY THEM!!!!!!!

Instead of singing along to sweet Caroline, the sheep should be singing WHY WHY WHY DELILAAAAAHHHH WHY WHY WHY DID I BUY IT!!!

    Just saying.

Exactly. I’ve grown tired arguing about PPV.
Just stream the fights you don’t want to pay for. I have only ever bought one PPV from Eddie that was Joshua v Klitschko.

Streaming is so easy and their are a lot of high quality sites availble.

I'll have a stab at this question.. Yes there has been, Mayweather Vs Baldomir

Baldomir had a record of 43 Wins 9 Losses and 6 Draws.

I think Gatti v Ward III was PPV and Ward had 12 losses on his record

Tony Bellew just got his bag of PPV loot for the Usyk fight and last seen giving both fingers to the PPV Mugths while dancing around his kitchen to The Birdie Song with his wife.
