Nice jab, too, when he stiffens it and doesn't just use it to pad the points column.

I wonder, is RJJ capable of not swaying like a teenage girl during a R&B slow jam at prom when he talks?

Now Pascal can have his last pride fight against Stevenson. Considering the lack of stamina of both fighters, the punch output will be quite low.

I used to believe Pascal would easily rip Stevenson's head off with his first leaping gazelle hook, but now I'm not sure he would ever land anything flush on him (especially if Stevenson fought negatively)

Probably not! The sound of his voice is music to his ears.

There's a part 2 to that answer, next Saturday, but I bet you've already got your "Adonis is shot" excuses made right?

Sly dig by Lampley there, "it remains to be seen, as boxing continues here in Atlantic City, whether it regains the status it has enjoyed over forty glorious years, in a proud tradition ...here, on the boardwalk..."

To be fair, Adonis did look shot in his last fight. He's a 6 round fighter now. If Stevenson can't get him out of there in 6, he's ****ed. Dude is 41 after all.

Like I said the other day I wouldn't be surprised if it went the distance because Pascal has got an iron chin and Bivol doesn't possess the kind of power Kovalev does. He can punch but Kovalev, Beterbiev and Stevenson aren't just hard punchers they're savage punchers. You draw up a list of the top 10 hardest punchers in the sport across all divisions and those 3 LHWs will feature in most people's top 10 lists. And Bivol is more a SMW than a LHW hence why he was giving away 7lbs to Pascal tonight, 5lbs to Chilemba in his fight prior to that and probably about 7lbs to Sullivan Barrera.

Bivol would be giving away a lot of weight to Alvarez, Jack, and many other top LHWs. For example, IIRC, Jack weighed 183 when he fought Degale down at SMW, 2lbs more than what Bivol weighed tonight, and Degale was 180-181, the same as what Bivol weighed tonight.

This is how much Kovalev weighed for his fights against Pascal

    Kovalev 189 - Pascal 185
    Kovalev 186 - Pascal 185

Kovalev is the only fighter to ever get Pascal out of there and drop him, which is a testament to his savage power.

Pascal Stevenson is a non-entity or one for the Montreal 2050 OAP free dinner club

But wait, I thought Badou Jack was this P4P body punching beast? And that Jack made him gas.:dunno Or maybe he does have a crap gas tank, perhaps that's why Fonfara gave him such troubles 4 1/2 years ago after he gassed after the 6th right before I started posting on here. Yet I've still had to vociferously argue with everyone that said Adonis was a beast. What's up with that?

Pretty good old man performance from Pascal to hang in there with the younger lion. Actually seemed to rattle him a couple of times in the 9th and 10th, and really didn't perform any worse in general than Barrera or Chilemba did against DB.

Wait? When is their last show? They still didn't say the Chocolatito match was their last.
