    Obviously under financial pressure.
There's not much money in this game for 99% of the fighters and times like this shows how hard the game is.
The irony is that the money raised will be needed for his training funds, no doubt.

Yeah, the "boom" in boxing is misleading. AJ probably earned in 10 seconds what the entire undercard cost against Povetkin.

    Must be a reoccurring story.

Possibly a good thing to purchase really.

Hard to imagine it would lose to much value

Does he even have the right to sell the belt? Do they make a belt for every champion to keep forever?

Yes all the PPV grubs take all the money out of boxing leaving very little at lower levels.

A young Jock died in the ring 2 years ago for what was believed to be a purse no more than the price of a decent 2 week holiday. This another example of why PPV adds zero value to boxing when guys like this are so skint they sell their belts.

The PPV grubs are all multi millionaires but can't get enough of money from the PPV mugths

Sad times, just read the ad his next opponent has pulled out so he is raising funds for his son for Christmas.

No doubt someone will come up with a GoFundMe page where all the funds will totally go to Ronnie. Totally.

Unless the IBF have different rules to other gov bodies, then he has the right to sell the belt. So yes I'd say, yes he can.
Yes each champion gets his own belt. .
The ones you see on the night in the ring when they win a belt is not the belt they get to keep.
For example, when LindseyTucker put the belt on Warrington after he beat Selby, that particular belt belonged to the IBF.
Selby had his own (prob left at home) and Warrington would of got his own prob a week later.
The one Warrington has in his possession will not be the one paraded in the ring in the night when he fights Frampton.
