Already seen bus stop billboards advertising the fight everywhere. The hype has been great, both true showman who are going to leave it all in the ring. Regardless who loses, they can hold their head held high.
He's only 30 and is at a similar weight to what he fought Wlad at. You don't lose the boxing ability that Tyson has. Sugar Ray Leonard was out of boxing for three years before beating Hagler, that was without any tune ups,
I think this may do ok numbers personally. Not in comparison to what it would do on Sky, but decent numbers. I’ve been impressed by the way BT have been promoting this. All of the usual casual types I know are getting the fight, no questions asked. I also think Wilder & Tyson will do some crazy stuff in fight week to push it further.

Fury says when he wins this he’s a PPV star in America and won’t fight in the UK again. I don’t see it myself, US ppv buys will be around 400k I think and once those people see Fury’s fighting style they defo won’t be rushing to spend another $75 too see him again.
Whilst I don't expect him to do himself down in interviews, especially in the build up to the fight and in fight week itself, every single piece of evidence anyone could cobble together before this fight suggested it would sell poorly, and it appears to be doing just that. Why it's happening is the question for me, especially from Wilder's POV. There just seems to be so much risk in it for him whilst his reward will be more evidence that he can't headline a US PPV successfully, and a win over a faded, title-less fat guy who's had years out. A poor demonstration at the box office arguably weakens his position regarding financials for the Joshua, and if he loses, he'll either make far less for that fight than he would have done or it'll never happen.
Americans especially rich LA based ones will turn up on the night IMO. By nature, they don’t tend to rush around buying tickets in advanced like Brits. I think the fight should have been held at the Barclays Centre, but I rekon there will be at least 13-15k in there on fight night. In regards to the pubs being closed, I don’t think that’s on top of Warrens worries.
People buy tickets in advance if something is going to sell out. There are numerous fights in the past which took place in America which sold out very quickly. The point for this fight is that if you're thinking about whether to go or not you know that the venue will be a quarter empty anyway.
