Who is the best at this time?

    Dmitry Bivol
    Adonis Stevenson
    Oleksandr Gvozdyk
    Badou Jack
    Eleider Alvarez
    Artur Beterbiev
    Marcus Browne
    Anthony Yarde

I'd say Dmitry Bivol. I think he'd out-box Eleider Alvarez (who I rate as the second-best) for a clear decision win.

Bivol got exposed because he couldnt knock out Pascal, we all know boxing is about knock outs and not the sweet science, guys like Canelo, Mayweather KNOCK OUT everyone, so why cant Bivol? Further proof that hes a hype job that cant sell. Bivol sucks, he threatens me.

That being said Adonis is the best fighter today, he is also a gentleman, never did wrong. He is the definition of the sweet science, he knocks everyone out with class. I would trust this man to look after my nieces and nephews because hes a kind sweetheart.

Gvoz, Beterbiev, Kovalev, Bivol are all hype jobs that cant sell, they cant sell because they dont fight the best while Adonis fights the best and gets drug tested 24/7 while The rest arent. These are facts, Im Very objective and trust worthy, you can trust me, ask anyone here. Joe Smith is just a construction worker, and he will expose hype job beterbiev next, and we all know Smith gets brutally destroyed by superior fighter Badou Jack.

I think it's wide open right now. But if forced to pick one, I guess I'd go with Gvozdyk at this time.

I'll go with Alvarez on current form but expect Gvozdyk and Bivol to take over.

Kovalev and Stevenson are nearing the end. Jack will be in close fights with everyone, Beterbievs defence is gonna get him KOd but he'll be in some right barnburners.

It's a good division, some great fights to be had.

I’m totally undecided though I’d lean towards Alvarez, I’d love a WBSS between those top 7 guys you mentioned and the winner of a qualifying match between Yarde and Buatsi taking the 8th spot

I read today Badou Jack will be fighting Marcus Browne on the Broner-Pacquiao PPV card.

    Interesting matchup.

What the heck is Yarde doing in the poll?

    Buatsi would wreck Yarde.

Alvarez should be #1 right now.

I understand why you think he shouldn't be included, but there are a some people in the UK who believe he's a top boxer. I don't rate him highly, but since he hasn't fought anybody decent yet, I don't know for certain.

Bivol for me, with Beterbiev a close 2nd.
What the F are Browne and Yarde doing on this list? Browne has altready been exposed, but the blatantly partial referee and judges saved him, and Yarde hasn't fought anyone of note yet.

It's okay to add some prospects but i think Buatsi is definitely the bigger prospect if we are talking about british prospects. Buatsi looked fantastic so far.

In the end when and if the light heavyweight battles' smoke clears, there will be one man standing.
    He's name is Artur Beterbiev.

Anthony Yarde has no place here.Bivol #1, but he is light for that division(btw, he will be maybe 12-15 pounds less than Yarde, and still different level).Bivol can beat anyone, but not like people want, with brutal knockouts against all the best defensive boxers in the division.
