    it is in his best interest for this fight to flop so why would he give them free promotion by attending this event?

    It should be that Joshua wants this fight to succeed so when he grows a set of balls to face Wilder, the fight will be even bigger.

    But we know he doesn't want that work, so yeah, he probably does want it to fail so he continue to justify his ducking as he chases Thug Whyte, Fat Miller, & Pulev.

    If the fight is a roaring success at the box office then the opponent demands a bigger share of his purse. As ridiculous as it is, it’s in his best interests not to promote it.

    But then in turn, the fight is even bigger financially so it evens itself out.

    And the bigger it is, the better it will be for his legacy, at least to the wider masses. So if the financial side evens itself out, then he should at least want the fight to succeed for this very reason.

    I'm beginning to think I'm not getting some sort of joke here. Joshua is a guy who has unified titles, fought four world champions (two decent, one poor, one ATG), and all incredibly early in his career, and he's the one getting criticised?

    I’m not even watching it live! The last time I stayed up to watch a fight stateside at 4am it took me about a week to recover

    You think Joshua is worried that everyone is going to flock to the event because he shows up ? lmao Nobody knows Joshua in the states it'd make absolutely no difference to how the fight sells.

    If he legit wanted the winner he'd be ringside. He doesn't want the winner though, that much is obvious.

    lol, really why would he go somewhere to watch two random fighters who he will not be facing in the near term..

    It doesn't matter whose nuts you hug the fact of the matter is the AJ v Wilder fight is a long way off if it happens at all...
