For want of any properly constructed poll threads made as of yet, this will stand as the official fight week poll. So it has been posted, so it shall be done. :buitre:

WBC heavyweight title at stake, eighth consecutive defense of Wilder. Fury, coming off a pair of low-level tuneup showcases this summer but otherwise inactive since claiming the HW lineal belt three years ago, is a 13/8 underdog.

Wilder via mid rounds stoppage and Fury will kick off for the so called premature stoppage

    Wilder has a 98% ko

Wilder has fought one decent man in his career.

Ortiz was 50 years old and still nearly knocked Wilder out.

    Fury UD all day long.

    You...sure about that, pal?

Wilder does have crazy power and Fury is still a man we have seen rocked by Neven Pajkic, Steve Cunningham, Martin Rogan, and countless others I'm forgetting. Hell, even himself.

His chin was never iron, and those sublime boxing skills everyone speaks of were only ever truly on display on a single night, against one single opponent who fought in a very uncharacteristic manner and was on the decline besides.

I'm just saying, even if you are backing Fury in this one, and confidently at that, I don't think anyone can rule out the possibility of a fluke hail-Mary windmill connecting and forcing the King to abdicate, snoring & drooling on the canvas.
