We'll get a good indication around the mid rounds on how this fight will end.

 

I expect it to start off very cagey, we might even hear some boos

 

Fury to dominate but I see the judges swaying towrds a draw.

 

Fury will probably win the early rounds with barely a punch thrown by either man, but I expect Wilder to gradually get more confident once he feels the embarrassing lack of power from such a big guy and he'll be in full windmill mode by about the eighth round finishing fury in the ninth.

 

Fury late rounds KO.

People are forgetting lesser more conventional fighters have outboxed and caused Wilder problems.

If Fury is on point he should be able to outbox, frustrate Wilder and o think he can make Wilder tired and stop him late.

 

Wilder on points for me. I think Fury will start very cautiously and we'll quickly remember that for all the defensive genius shown in the Klitschko fight he barely landed anything of note. Wilder will go on the attack in the second half of the fight and Fury will be in survival mode but manage to spoil his way to the end. There will be little in the way of real action but the judges give it to Wilder with most criticism being that you can't expect to land so little and rip the belt off the champion.

Good point and with the exception of Wlad and Povetkin, the same applies to Tony Dosh PPV.

Fair play to Fury for fighting Wilder win or lose although I expect the latter.

 

Wilder by brutal KO in round 6

 

I expect Fury to fight the whole fight southpaw, taking away Wilder's right hand by simply leaning backwards. Wilder will be countered all night. If Wilder tires, Fury will take him out. If Wilder's stamina holds up, he'll lose a wide UD.

Those questioning Fury's stamina watch the Pianeta fight. He done ten rounds at a solid pace with ease. Those questioning Fury's power, check out Wladimir and Chisora's faces post fight. If you think Wilder is walking through Fury's punches you're very wrong.

 

Ive been sat on the fence for this but I'm going for Wilder by KO.

Too many things point towards Fury been shot or atleast declined. Heard a few rumours today from people that his sparring hasn't gone well either.

Hope I'm wrong but i think Wilder gets to him.

Not long ago I was predicting Wilder by vicious KO but I have to admit the transformation in Fury, even since the Pianeta fight, has changed my mind a bit, maybe.

He looks in good shape, trimmed down a bit more and the legs are looking muscular, which could be a factor. Although he'd lost a shiitload of weight for the Pianeta fight he was still fat and his legs were like a sparrow's compared to his torso and it showed in his movement, he looked very hittable and was lucky it was a dumpling like Pianeta he was fighting. If that was Wilder on that night Fury would've got flattened. Now, I could believe that Fury has the gas tank and the legs to go with his skills, ring IQ, size, reach, etc. What about his speed and reflexes? Will he be as fast and as sharp as he was 3 years ago? I'd say probably not.

For now I'm going to say Wilder on points, cos I can see Fury going full on negative, spoiling, ultra tricky mode. Where he manages to stay out of danger for the full fight but is too negative and doesn't land enough to win it. Like shades of Hughie Fury. I think we could see Fury deducted points as well. So aye, Wilder on points and Fury crying robbery and victimhood.

 

Agreed on Wilder decision. Fury is gunna feel the wrath early on and run like Hughie did against Parker. In that recent New York vid he looks like a rake, and he wasn't the biggest hitter anyways which is supported by his last two fights where he looked like he landed about 3 relatively hard punches on let's face it tomato cans. Fury will have planned for this and I'd be astounded if "going out on his shield" Benn-style is part of it.

He'd far rather run all night and live to fight another day and claim it was a boxing "masterclass" as opposed to getting his head bounced off the canvas; although you could argue that the latter outcome would give him the Willy Wonka Golden Ticket against Joshua.

Ortiz almost had Wilder out but the key word is almost. Even when he was badly buzzed, Wilder was keeping Ortiz at bay with 1/3 power shots and he still recovered, admittedly with a little help from the corner. People conveniently forget Ortiz was saved by the bell after his first knockdown as well.
