But with his "big" fight coming, Fury himself shows how small of an event it actually is and that his own US PPV star thing is complete and utter nonsense.

In an AJ fight there will be 4 major belts, so all his belt is worth is 25%, he personally brings absolutely nothing.

 

Looked to me he was still sporting some excess flab around the hips/midsection, but then again, he always kinda had that. He never was the superhero physique guy so my guess is he'll atleast be close to peak condition. We'll see...

FFS they are fighting in 3 days and nobody knows who Wilder is.

The problem is, that the US does not have a real fan culture. Sports is just pure entertainment, but most would not follow their team or fighter in bad times. Just look at their stadiums. NO atmosphere at all.

Fury's just doing a straw poll to estimate the PPV numbers. So in conclusion, he will do about 50,000 and he wants 60/40 to fight Joshua? Talk about owning yourself.

 

It doesn't matter what a guys worth in terms of how many fans he brings along when you have a world title.

I'm no a Wilder fan by any stretch of the imagination, but he holds a giant bargaining chip around his waist which makes him worth whatever the hell he thinks he can squeeze out of Hearn.

He'd be a fool to let AJ have a go at it too cheap.
