I read all your posts, thank you for your work. Entertaining read yet again.
I think it's hard to say any % chance of winning to either fighter, who knows what kind of shape fury is in and how much the ortiz fight taught wilder.

My thinking is Fury has to land something hard on Wilder early just to keep him from cranking that right hand over and over. And will Wilder go for the feints and not pull the trigger. That is the key to Fury winning. And remember the size of Fury. He might outweight Wilder by 25 or 30 pounds. You cannot ignore that size. It is what made him able to beat Klitchko when many of the other smaller guys did not. as well as the 85 inch reach.

Fair, but to win all Tyson really needs to do is what he's usually done. Wilder probably need to show a new dimension to his game to win. Tyson went the distance since he's comeback, so physically if the trend follows Tyson should be in good enough shape to pull it off. But I took a stance when I didn't need to, right or wrong only time will tell.

Good bad or indifferent the fight sums up to Wilders ability to close the distance and land effectively. If Fury avoids a fire fight he likely takes the cake.

I think Wilder probably comes in hot, gets smothered by the clinch early. Fury is just a better inside fighter and knows when to tie up. Deontay will adjust to try and keep more distance to avoid the clinch and Tyson will start outboxing him on angles. It's probably going to be a very ugly fight. Tyson Fury tends to win ugly fights.

Close the distance BUT not get clinched. Tyson will probably try to stall out Wilder as much as possible.

And the key for Fury also is to land something big an maybe stop Deontay. Not many people are saying Fury can stop Wilder. I think he can. He has fast hands and decent power and he feints well. The problem is he might have to take some chances when Wilder throws to maybe counter. It is always a risk. He can try and box and clinch and win a long fight that way, but he still has to avoid that right. I think he can but he has to hurt Wilder and threaten to knock him out to get that respect.

Wilder is certainly hittable and hurtable but I don't think it would be in Tyson's best interest to really sit down on his punches. With his size he doesn't really need to. Tyson plays tag and still can hurt guys. The luxury of weighing 260. Tag is probably his easiest route to victory.

I agree. I don't think Wilder has a good chin or defense but he is dangerous and Fury knows that. Wilder seems to be at his peak now, so if Fury wins that would be a nice win for Tyson. I expect Tyson to move a lot in the first rounds and for Wilder to be talking a lot.

Wilder seems to be more cautious when approached with stiffer challenges, not saying his previous comp can be considered high quality but lately they have decent to good experience. Many are inclined to assume he will come out guns blazing....I think he’ll do more probing until he senses opportunity. It could be detrimental or it could pay dividends, either way at some point he will go for broke but it will happen when he finds that loop hole.

That is a problem, Wilder generally fights one punch at a time. Combos only come out when the opponent gets rocked. Tyson is probably going to handily out work him most rounds.
