    I rewatched a bunch of this dudes amateur bouts and he seemed to get outboxed basically every time he fought one of the top level amateurs, heaps of losses in there.

    As a pro he don't really impress me either

    I say he's the next Robert Helenius at best

    He's working with a top trainer in Pedro Diaz now whereas before he was working with some guy who nobody has ever heard of. Diaz has tons of experience working with and training the Cuban national team

    'Diaz was involved with four Cuban Olympic teams: 1992, 1996, 2000 and 2004. Those teams collated 20 gold, six silver and three bronze medals in total. In six World Championship tournaments the results were also fantastic: 28 gold, 12 silver and nine bronze.'

    And he's trained among others Felix Savon, Rigo, and numerous other Cuban amateur greats and standouts and he's also trained or is currently training Chagaev, Odlanier Solis, Miguel Cotto, Joel Casamajor, Drozd, Bakhodir Jalolov, Ivan Baranchyk, Tyrone Spong, Noel Gevor and obviously Hrgovic and he's still training Rigo. So hopefully he's going to be a great addition for Hrgovic who was already quality before he hooked up with him.

    Hrgovic has future world champion written all over him. As soon as he passes the chin test vs a big puncher, he'll be very hard to beat and well on his way. Hrgovic, Joyce, Yoka, Dychko, I think a few people will get a shock when these lads start tearing ass through the division in 15 or so fights ala Usyk style. Hrgovic vs Joyce would be a barnstormer of a prospect fight if they can't get decent opponents.

    Hrgovic already passed the chin test in the amateurs. He had a complete war with Nistor, the man most famous for stopping Joshua in the Amateurs. Nistor is a compact type who can punch, and banged away. Hrgovic won.

    Chins are best tested when hit. Some guys go down. Hrgovic was never down as an amateur or pro

    Some guys hold on for dear life or run when chin checked. Hrgovic has done neither.

    Others get defensive and afraid to commit when hit hard. Hrgovic has not show this either. You hit him, he wants to get you back.

    All signs point to a strong physical and mental chin.

    In his defense he was distracted because he found out why he was called big sexy and was worried about funny business in the ring. He didn't want to commit to anything and have it taking the wrong way . :beautiful:

    All I know is, that they called him a prospect and future HW champ like in 2012. 7 years later and he hasn't showed anything yet except knocking out a 46 year old Mansour.
