Reminds me of me many years ago when @Dubblechin predicted Lewis KO2 Tua. It seemed outlandish at the time to me, but in reality, it wasn't.

That said, if it plays out that way here, I'd be mighty surprised.

I think this is also one of those polarizing fights where emotions supplant logic and people pick the fighter they like to beat the fighter they hate. Generally I think Fury is much more well liked than Wilder so make of that what you will.

I think a lot of the Joshua fans are now de-facto Fury fans for the weekend, put it that way.

    Just because Joshua/Wilder is a potential 50/50 fight doesn't make Wilder/Fury a 50/50 fight...

I'm not quite sure how more fans aren't adamant in the fact that Fury appears in near career poor form, failing to rattle or stop a heavyweight that was just last year stopped by Kevin "Kingpin" Johnson. If that doesn't throw up red flags for you I'm not sure what would.

Joshua vs. Wilder is no closer to being 50-50 than Wilder vs. Fury, IMO...

It didn't prove anything one way or another.
He didn't try to stop him.

Yes, red flags have been up since he went crazy and put on 140 pounds but the comeback "fights" were nothing fights. It's impossible to conclude anything meaningful from such exhibitions.

Going to go with Fury on this. This is in spite of the reasons everyone mentions. 3 years off with abuse. 2 not very good showings since returning. Weight loss might bother his stamina. Wilder carries his power late. However, Wilder has only one thing...power in his right hand. Washington, Szpilka for God's sake. a 50? YEAR OLD ORTIZ had him almost out. Wilder is no damn good. A subjective note. he is dumb as a new born aardvark (sp). (I've heard they are dumb) Lots of if's here, but if Fury can show up and not be goofy crazy (think Golota) , if he can stay focused for 12....he should beat Wilder by .......KTFO

I've decided. Not only am I picking Wilder by KO, with increasing confidence - I think I'm rooting for the big lunkhead - legit rooting for him - for the first time since...idk, Beijing?

Each second, each minute and each hour that passes my confidence in Fury to box the nut off bum squad rises.

By the time we're 4 rounds in it will be clear.
