Edited to provide a little more detail on the "action" (such as there was) in the first minute and swapped out the GIF (since the first one I chose displayed as the dreaded "red X") as they were generous enough to show the "whole fight" on replay. :sisi1

I think no matter what this was always going to be the same result, but Mundine being weak enough for a stiff Horn fart to bowl him over probably had to do with being drained, yeah.

Horn vs Kosyta Tsyzu next. Horn is in the process of making a phone call to the retired legend and will challenge him to come out of retirement.

Tricky question: where does this figure in Horn's best wins? Certainly this was the second biggest name, after Pacquiao, but much as with Pacquiao this version of Mundine is a bit...shall we say, compromised with age. I'd say, and not just based on tonight but also from the impression left by Choc's recent fights with Browne & Green II, maybe not even top 5?

    1) shot old Pac (still a top welter)
    2) Mousaoui
    3) shot old Bailey
    4) Mueller
    5) Corcoran

    6) would be a toss-up between shot old Mundine, Plotnikov, shot old Funeka.

Meanwhile half the site was saying Mundine was going to school him, and thought Mundine was a live dog in this fight. Give him a little credit, I mean, he is coming off of being horribly drained against Crawford himself, and being a Welterweight, and well Mundine was coming off of.... fighting at MW. He was fine.

Horn obliterates an old and shot Mundine as expected.Question is, where does Horn go from here? Jr Middleweight or back to Welterweight? Surely with the paydays hes bringing in in Australia, a Crawford rematch, Porter, Spence or Khan in Brisbane will net both guys millions. Horn vs Charlo?

    I know, I've seen it. ;)

Mundine boxed well, and like I said did well to survive considering expectations heading in (based on Kessler having a reputation for punching well and Mundine having been stopped by Ottke & dropped by Siaca) - but Kessler put on a clinic of textbook orthodox boxing. Among his more underrated performances IMO, totally dissected a slick defensive fighter and marked him up with front-foot technical prowess.

    I wouldn't rule it out completely .
Horn's management would try it for sure .
Kostya is still in very good shape .
He probably sees Horn as a A grade street fighter and thinks he has a chance .
