A 70% KO ratio is nothing to scoff at. Consider he has a decision against an iron chinned Zack Page, would have KO'd Mrazek had the fight not been a short six rounder (he was dropped twice in that final round), followed up decision victories against McDermott and Chisora with a TKO and RTD respectively and imo carried Piñata to get rounds in.

Underrated power and certainly not the feather fist puncher people on here make him out to be.

I like both guys but my money in on Fury KO +500. Therefore, I have to root for the Gypsy King. But if Wilder wins, it'll be a very, very good win. That'll be better than anything on AJ's resume sans Klitschko.

    I agree.

People bring up Cunningham being a Cruiser but no one else has ever stopped him (and he fought a HW puncher in Mansour). Chisora was only stopped by a prime David Haye, he's faced other punchers like Whyte, Helenius, and V. Klitschko and was able to go the distance. Fury can punch.

I'm also not sold on Wilder's chin. Sure he has a ton of heart but I think his chin is still suspect. I could see him getting laid out by a Fury punch.

The thing is though, and I'm at least calling it before it happens (I don't think it will happen)....If Fury looks bad and Wilder does KO him, the absolute truth is that we will have never gotten to know what might have been different with an active 3 year ago Tyson Fury in there. One would be left to assume things.

Whereas we absolutely know we're getting the best Deontay Wilder in there. So, naturally if Tyson wins its another huge win for him and actually, some may say... A miracle considering the road he has come along.

I will give Wilder his credit should he win. But how much credit, will be determined on my opinion of how Fury looks in there. That is just human nature and it is right, however unfair it may seem on Deontay.

The more I think about it the more I come to a conslusion that this fight will be controversial. At this point I'm almost sure that Wilder will win by decision (SD, I guess).
Fury will try to be flashy and impressive in the first half of the fight, but will switch to a survival mode in the second fight. I think he will be able to do that (to survive), but Wilder will be declared a winner tonight. And, again, it will be controversial.

I still pick Wilder as I think it's too soon for Fury but Wilder's weight concerns me. It's a huge difference.
