The only thing is Welborns defence is there is a nice number of belts on the line, maybe he thinks **** it what an opportunity money or no money but its angered me all the same, its disgusting the man has been shown no respect. 30 thousand --- 1 million. Especially we are getting all this "Biggest night in world Boxing" and "mega money".

Why on earth did Joe Joyce join PBC? he can earn more than that fighting on C5.

And Wilder "offered" 50 million to Joshua, somehow...

Can we please stop quoting purses given to the commission for PBC fighters. It's been confirmed a hundred times over that they get paid much more through "other means".

Reading your post was like listening to a Hearn IFL interview. Get over it. PBC pay the most. Let's all move on.

Guerrero has 5 or 6 fights where his purse was 1mil or more.
    He should be financially secure.

Do you not follow boxing? This all came out after Hearn failed to sign a single name fighter in the US. Do you not remember Broner and Mikey rejecting Hearn for offering less than they're currently making, even though he offered much more than their official purses? It's not a secret. Google is your friend.

    Whaaat

OK I'm assuming this is basic and PPV will be added on, even so, still not making 10 million dollars though, no chance in my opinion.

And Hearn's 15 milllion offer was "peasant money" and Hearn is a "slave owner"?

By his own words and logic Wilder is officially a "peasant" and a "slave".

OK Wilder fans explain this one away, come on, I won't even argue, I just want to hear the excuses, so tell me how money doesn't matter and it's all about big fights..

but then contradict yourselves and say Hearns offers were "lowballing"

but then say a 4 million dollar purse is great because this proves money doesn't matter to Wilder it's about fighting the best..

then say Wilder shouldn't fight AJ unless he get at least 40% and after he beats Fury tonight he is worth at least 50/50

Can't wait until if and when the PPV numbers are released, how the hell are you all going to tell me 200k is amazing, keeping in mind Golovkin still gets slaughtered for a 150k PPV.

He's signed to Ringstar which is owned by Richard Schaefer so he probably was advised it was the best option. Hard to say if it works out or not, they've called out Breazeale, Kownacki and Ortiz for next year and they are all Haymon fighters, so if these fights materialise it would of been a good move.

Kownacki won't be risked too much as he's a good ticket seller for them. Breazeale will wait out for his title shot. Only one left is Ortiz and he's waiting for a big money pay day. Maybe someone like Charles Martin or Andy Ruiz Jr? It's a shame because the UK heavy scene is very good and would like to see Joyce compete vs them but won't get to see it as he's getting on now.

Of course PPV numbers will add some money but still freaky that he made more money with Seferi and Pianeta than with Wilder. Wilder is simply not even the C side in boxing.

Joe Joyce is the definition of high risk low reward, I really for the bloke. His team seriously need to start working for him to be matched and I’m not entirely sure he’s with the right people. As posters have pointed out , all other fighters are waiting for something else. Who can he really get in the ring? Charles Martin maybe but I don’t think that’s a test really.
