Anthony Yarde's bum carousel continues

I watched FW on Boxing Social say "what does Burton bring to the table"? Then says Burton should fight Buatsi and they can fight the winner.

Well what does the winner of that bring? What changes?

Burton, Buatsi, Johnson all apparently bring nothing to the table? Well what does Israel Duffus bring to the table?

Just when I think Yarde can't look any worse, they prove me wrong.

Yarde is back on the card! Fair play to Warren for sorting this out. He’ll be playing Isaac Lowe at FIFA just before the main event.

 

some fighters get a lot of undeserved stick on here but the whole yarde team deserve it his matchmaking has been shocking.they couldn't have done a better job in making him thoroughly unlikeable. He has looked good blowing away these unknown dudes but as someone else said still so many questions about how good he is. I suppose we should find out soon enough cos he is no1 with the wbo...how the fak did that happen!

I believe they have already turned a WBO title fight and they will keep turning them down.

It's ridiculous, I can't believe they are doing this with his career, he is already becoming a meme, a joke, a punchline.

Groves and DeGale fought early in their career, recently Okolie and Chamberlain did, I see absolutely no reason why Yarde can't fight Buatsi, none whatsoever.

 

I’m sorry but I’m not buying it. Not the first time we’ve been fed this bollocks. Why weren’t one single opponent announced if 4 have managed to pull out? Announce the fighters once the fight is agreed and you’d have a bit of credibility but as it stands I just don’t believe it. We’ve all been wondering for weeks what can he would be fed this time. Now we’re supposed to believe that the Doofus was the 5th one?! Yeah ok.

Aye think it was maybe beterbiev or kovalev? Don't blame them for that tbf. I get your frustration m8 we just want to see him fight someone we've heard of who we know is a good fighter..is that to much ask.

Yeah, see the thing is, I don't mind watching a fighter steadily and even slowly progress, it's actually really interesting and entertaining to watch a fighter develop from a compete novice and go right through the rank and levels.

But it's the hype and spin they spill with Yarde that's the problem, from FW, Yarde Trainer (won't say his name because he loves the attention) and even FW.

You can't say you're above domestic level and not fight any domestic rivals and then drag Latvians middleweights out of pubs for a fight.

And to add insult to injury they stick him top of a bill and think if any of us complain or take the pee we are all haters and don't understand the sport.

Yarde isn't the only one, I'm not just digging out Yarde, Conor Benn is another, I have a problem with how they were dealing with him, it's seems to have gone quiet with him for a while but we will see if they are learning their lessons or are just trying to stop any over exposure.

Yarde clearly thinks he is being smart like Mayweather with the whole timing is everything thing, the thing is even Floyd worked his way to the very top before he started cherry picking.

The frustrating thing is the way he’s being promoted as a monster, topping televised cards and the fact that he looks as though he can really fight.

He strikes me as a typical bully his tail went between his legs when Burton confronted him, he didn’t like being in the presence of somebody that is not intimidated by him

 

I’ve made it clear, that I don’t agree with the overly negative view on here and other platforms when it comes to Yarde.

However, the last fight and this week or so has been a complete shambles, including Yarde’s pathetic interview with Kuggan.

Frank is too old and stuck in his ways to admit or acknowledge what the general perception of Yarde is in an interview.

However, surley the young guys in his office have got to sit him down when he gets back and show him what’s being said and direct him.

They must do what they can to make the Burton fight in early 2019- it’s just common sense at this point.
