As much as I want Gvozdyk to win, he needs to be very, very careful... Adonis is a crafty fighter, who knows how to exploit his opponents mistakes. And he can bang! Plus, Gvozdyk has not been terribly impressive against southpaws.

Gvodzyk is very good but can’t forget him getting dropped hard by a Tommy Karpency straight left. Stevenson’s straight left is a missile, hard, accurate, and comes out of nowhere. Leaning towards Stevenson by KO but any outcome here wouldn’t surprise me.

It's more odd a lot of times being on the left coast.

    Thank you!

If Adonis can't get him out within four, he's toast. Still dangerous as hell early, but he's a frontrunner. OG can't afford a cold start.

Karpency actually dropped him with a sneaky right hook that he didn't see coming

the nail probably fights cautious in the first 4 maybe drops 3 of them and slowly takes over the fight. but teddy...

becomes a becomes a 65-35 fight after the 4th round to me. but Stevenson has a realistic shot to win within 4. reach and south paw and I'm unsure of the nails range in the early stages.

That's true. Gvozdyk didn't see that punch coming at all. So, for me that episode is more like an evidence that his defense isn't perfect, and not that his chin is weak. But, in fact, that's (Gvozdyk's tendencies to lose concentration and take clean punches) the biggest problem for the upcoming fight. Because against Stevenson it's not that important how good is your chin — his punches are too powerfull almost for any boxer to depend on his chin.

Gvozdyk will need to fight a perfect fight tonight... And, unfortunately, I'm not sure he will be able to do that. Because his transformation from amateur to professional boxing is not over yet, he still hasn't found his perfect style as a pro boxer. He's had only one full distance (12 rounds) fight in his career in which he was far from a perfect boxer...

But you gotta consider that Gvozdyk has learned from the Karpency fight and will be extra cautious when it comes to Adonis' left hand.

At the weigh in Gvozdyk looked very tense and this is more concerning IMO.
